The home is beautiful! We had a very large family gathering and everyone had a comfortable place to stay. The staff was very responsive to issues and solved most of them almost immediately. Where that was impossible, they did everything they could to alleviate the circumstances. We were initially concerned to have a busy road close by, but that ended up to be no problem at all. We had a great time!

We stayed a week with the WHOLE family! We had a great time, and wonderful sights are just a short distance away. The only thing was that the sea grass was thick, so you could not swim off the dock. But it did not stop us from having a wonderful time.

Vacation

Great spot with communicative host. It was a little dirty in some places, but the other reviews mentioned that and we didn't mind the cobwebs on the porch. The kayaks were awesome to have access to although they did have a lot of bird poop on them. Overall it got the job done for what we were trying to do which was spend time together and catch up with friends because there were many rooms and beds and kitchens.

Wonderful place !

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place with our five adult children and their families which included our three grandchildren, ages 3 years, 2 years and 9 months. We rented the main house and guest house and it gave us so much room to spread out. It is very kid friendly, and the play/rec room was enjoyed by all! The front yard was little small and near the road, but the backyard more than made up for it-very large and beautiful setting on the river. The house and kitchens were very well stocked with whatever you may need. The property manager was very prompt and helpful. We all hated to leave and look forward to the next time we can visit!

Perfect House for Multiple Families!

We recently stayed at this house in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with our extended family, and it was absolutely perfect! The layout was thoughtfully designed to accommodate multiple families, with plenty of space to spread out while still having cozy common areas to gather. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, offering everyone privacy, and the shared living spaces were perfect for group activities. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook meals for a crowd. The outdoor space was another highlight—ideal for relaxing, letting the kids play, or enjoying the beautiful Chattanooga weather. The location was fantastic too! It’s close to all the must-see attractions, yet tucked away in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches the owners provided, making our stay feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend this house for families or groups traveling together!

Family reunion fun

We were 14 (siblings and spouses). We rented both the main house and guest house. What a fabulous layout! There was so much room for spreading out when we weren't gathered at the large--2!--dining tables. Cooking dinners was easy in the well equipped kitchens and having the use of 3 full refrigerators meant shopping once for our stay. The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. Driving to Chattanooga downtown is about 22 minutes; there is nothing within walking distance to the house. We spent hours on the decks or on the dock fishing and looking at the the wonderful views of the river. We didn't use the grills, kayaks, or firepits but it was a lovely option to have.This property is a perfect place for large groups to gather!

Great spot for family get together

Not far from Chattanooga where we attended a wedding. The set up was perfect for us. Each section of family was able to have their own bedroom area with bathroom(s) and even their own separate kitchen and living room. That made it so easy to set up and keep our belongings separated for privacy but also afforded the opportunity to gather together if we wanted. Everyone thought the beds were extremely comfortable and clean which allowed us to rest well. The house was adequately cool and quiet. Our family enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. The kids swam in the River though it's not the cleanest. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful with views abounding from every angle. Our visit was toward the end of the season so I would say that it was probably time for a power washing of the outside to clean up spider webs, dead bugs. The property manager was extremely responsive to all of our questions and took care of anything we needed. The communication was quick and thorough. Overall recommend this location for a family gathering!

We were pleased with our rental. A lot of space and everything we needed. Inside was clean. One toilet did not work on main floor. Was surprised to se so much algae around dock area. Was still able to canoe and paddleboard and Kayak. Outdoors on deck and porch were pretty much covered with cobwebs. The main home and guest home. Grill on main floor of main home was not very clean. Had some issues grilling. Overall it was a pleasant stay considering we had 16 people.

FUN! but not what we expected

First, the Host was always in contact with us - thru texting, they supported us and answered all our questions and concerns. However, the property wasn't exactly what we expected. The pics don't show the extremely dangerous highway out front - large trucks & semis were flying and it was shocking just to sit on the porch and watch them barreling down the road - think Pet Semetary from Stephen King. The house was not as clean as it could have been-cob webs on all the patio/deck handrails (lots of spiders!) and filthy vents in the rest rooms-the jetted tub had mold and the kitchen had molded bread from previous guests. No GFCIs around the kitchen sinks. The bottom floor refrigerator did not work when we got there-with 15 people, we really needed that extra space for food, BUT the host worked with us and we had a new fridge by Day 4. In the guest house, we found dirty laundry in the dresser drawers from previous guest. There were also some knobs missing from the kitchen cabinet doors & 1 kayak didn't have a seat - we reported all of this to the host and they were very apologetic. All in all it was a great trip for our family-we can adapt and overcome when needed and we were reimbursed for the ice to keep food cold, and they compensated us for the lack of a fridge. We truly felt the HOST cared about us and wanted our stay to be joyful, but it's also valuable to receive good, honest feedback. Thank you for hosting us and the stray cat from the woods next door is a sweetheart!

Relaxing Family Vacation

We have been going on family vacations for at least 16 years. We love to find new places. This home with the added home next door was perfect for us. Lots of room for us all. Loved all the supplies the owner left for us to use. All the kids loved the kayak and canoe. Fishing was great!! We had so much room for all of us to eat together. I especially liked the main house porch. Perfect place to watch the sunrise and the sunset. We were well taken care of by the property management. Fun place to stay. Thanks so much.

Beautiful Views Loads of Fun

The property is just as beautiful as the pictures show. We had a larger group and cooked most of our meals that the main house. There were plenty of cooking pots, pans, and utensils. If you are looking for a quite serene vacation home, this is it!

Beautiful Property

Our group of 19 friends and family stayed at Scenic City Cove for 3 nights over MLK weekend. We had 2 babies with us, so very much appreciated the cribs/pack & play and booster seats that were provided by the host. The main house is beautiful and comfortable, with two kitchens & living areas and plenty of room to spread out. And the added space/bedrooms/kitchen in the guest house was amazing too. Brianna was super responsive and helpful. We were there in the winter, of course, but with the river, dock, kayaks, etc., this property would make for a wonderful summer vacation. Would highly recommend!
