This was our second stay in this property in a few months. We like that it’s super convenient to the boat ramp at Chester Frost, however, the house could use a really good deep cleaning. I was hoping that last time it was just a one-off miss, but I feel like the housekeeping is lacking. It’s not terrible by any means, or else we wouldn’t have stayed twice, but it just really needs some good elbow grease. Plenty of space for our guest count! Great parking!

Fishing vacation

The property is one of the best in the area when it comes to housing a group. There is plenty of sleeping areas and a ton of outdoor spaces to enjoy.

Really fun place to stay with kids. Dock is private and peaceful and we caught several fish at various points in our stay. Kids enjoyed the bunkbeds and it was nice to have a separate bathroom for the kids with a bathtub. The host was extremely courteous and very accommodating to us. Thanks!

The home was comfortable. I wish the photos on Vrbo would have been more current, my expectations would have been different. The photo provided of the water wasn't correct as the lake must have been lowered for this time of the year. We were ready to be by the water.

The home was perfect for our needs & for the size of our travel party. We were in town for a fishing tournament and had plenty of parking for the 2 boats we had with us. We were within a 5 minute drive from the tournament ramp which was a huge plus. The only negative to mention is the cleanliness. The home could really use a thorough deep cleaning. All in all, we would stay here again for a tournament in the area.

This is a rental, but still the home needs some deep cleaning. Some of the linens need to be replaced. More blankets are needed. Fortunately, we had traveled with a few extra. It was modestly priced. The area around the lake is private and pretty. The lake water level is extremely low right now so you can’t actually access the lake from the dock.

Perfect location and size!

In town for the Bassmaster High School national fishing championship, and this home was perfect for our group of 10. Large comfortable bedrooms and nice gazebo out back. Good location, too. Highly recommend!

We had a great time and would stay here again! We loved the property. The fishing was excellent and had lots of room for our two dogs to walk. It was an easy 20-30 minute drive to all the attractions we wanted to go to. Our only complaint was it could have been cleaner but overall we were happy with our stay.

Great stay, great location. I wish it had more space for boat parking. A carport parking for 5 or 6 boats would be great. It has the space.

Family Labor Day Boating Vacation

We all really enjoyed our stay here and were able to get out on the lake every day with our boat and jet skis (once we were able to find a pathway through the milfoil) The location and lake access was perfect and the dock was amazing! The property itself could use some tlc, but a great time was had by all!

Repeat Visit

Second time staying at this house. Love the proximity to the lake with boat dock right out the door. Neighbors were great assisted in a missing kayak. Had some plumbing issues due to weather having 10 people was a little rough. But still had enough space for all.

Great Stay

Wanted to be on the lake and that’s what we got. Brought our boat and kept it on the Dock. There is no power on the dock so keep that in mind. Other than the bad fishing weather had a great stay!!!

Perfect lake house

Amazing time with family!

We had such a wonderful time! We had so much room to spread out!!! The flat lot was easy for our older relatives to navigate. James , the owner, was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely rent again.

Great house and property

The covered fenced in gazebo was awesome and was like having another house on the property.we played cards and games out here at night. Fridge out here allowed drink storage to allow food storage inside the house. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Less than 2 miles from the house were great mom and pop restaurants, fast food, pizza, grocery store, dollar general.

House was nothing what we expected. Pots and pans were dirty, master bedroom shower curtain was gross and needed to be washed also no liner as we had to purchase. There was mold in shower doors and not very clean.VRBO pictures were beautiful but not what was I expected, I even took pictures. Oh and if anyone takes pets or children house is on main road.

Family gathering

Everything was great. We’ll have to rent the place in the summer. It was very cold weather and the lake was very low. That’s no fault of the owner. It was very clean and well stocked with essentials.
