"Place was amazing! My boys and I(19&24 yr olds) had a great time! Place had everything we needed and some! It was very clean and tidy. It was relaxing and peaceful. We caught some rainbow trout early morning and had a crane visit every morning! Hiked nearby Cascade Mountain for some amazing views of the high peaks... As well as a few rounds of golf in Malone. Hope to return again."

"We had a wonderful time and Doug was a terrific host. He met us at check-in, walked us through the cabin, showed us the boats/canoes, and told us a bit about the history of the area and fun places to spend some time. Very charming and rustic cabin, super comfy. It's a very intimate and private setting, secluded but 30min from town. Excellent private dock to launch the boats provided, or to launch your own. Nice paddlers pond, not much power boat action. Herons, bald eagles and assorted...

"We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience.
