Finding the place is a bit tricky with the instructions we were given. There is one rocky mountain road which passes by the house. By the looks of it, only one way (downward) is doable. I would suggest using these coordinates to reach “impasse mont chef”(46.2436806, 4.3199548)The pros:- The self-check-in was easy and calm with our anxious dog.- the view is gorgeous- it’s relatively cheap- you have the whole garden and the entire “older part” of the house at your disposal - nobody will bother you- it’s a fenced off garden - but your dog can still slip through the gaps if they want.- the mattress is okay; we slept well- the house stays surprisingly cool if you keep it somewhat closed during the day.- the gas stove works wellThe cons:- the flip side of the house staying cool is that it smells strongly like old house. (Maybe poorly ventilated?)- almost everything is old and worn. Cups, pans, cutlery, the outside table. Bring your own things. (E.g.: extra cutting board, chefs knife, stainless steel frying pan, medium sized pot, dishwasher tablets)- the N985 road is close enough to hear cars pass by in the valley below. (Quiets down in the evening)- no lying chairs or couch / mattress outside to lie down on- you can’t stand in the shower. Either take a bath or shower while sitting. - the couch inside is not great. Sitting on it for an hour will have the cushions slide down.- the sheets and pillow cases are mostly old looking, but clean.
