Everything worked as expected. The property was beautiful!!! Plenty of wildlife. Back deck had gorgeous views!!! Plenty of parking. 20 minutes to Houghton.

Property is beautiful & peaceful. Saw deer, coyote, rabbits, turkeys. Visited in late July-mosquitoes and flies were bad, so didn’t get to enjoy the pond. Good location for everything we wanted to see/do. Box fans available which was good since upstairs gets very warm, but cools off at night with windows open. If you prefer a softer mattress, take a topper, they are very firm. Host was responsive with any issues. Did have a storm, power went out and because it’s on a well, no water for a bit, but was restored same day so not a biggie. Saw Bucks daily, a coyote once and did find bear scat on the trail…and a rabbit that visited daily. Overall, beautiful place that is secluded.

Fishing Trip

We came to Michigan on a fishing trip and stayed at this property. It was everything we needed. Plenty of space for everyone, full kit ch en with anything you need fish wise and the pond was wonderful to be able to fish anytime. Lots of beautiful land to explore and everything you could need. Location is a bit far from towns but that is what we were looking for. 10/10 would recommend

The flies were a bit concerning. The jacuzzi is very small and did not stay hot at all. When we arrived the bed upstairs and bathroom had not been touched from the previous guests who stayed.

Perfect home base!

All the cozy vibes while visiting our MTU students for winter carnival weekend! Everything we needed to spread out, visit together, and enjoy our time. Many games of chess were played. Jacuzzi got a lot of use. Our college students enjoyed hiking in the snow & found some surprise igloos. Plenty of vintage books & decor add to the charm! Thanks for a great weekend.

Winter Wonderland

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It is exactly as listed and the views are simply stunning. The best day of the trip was the day we snowshoed around the property with the snowshoes provided. There is a clearly marked trail through the woods and a map of all the trails in the house. The house is well insulated and the wood burning stove is easy to use. Plenty of pots and pans so we cooked every meal in the house. We will definitely be coming back to see other seasons.

Loved our sray

First thing in the morning looking out window up stair bedroom. There where deer out grazing, that was almost every day. NO traffic noise, and very private. the home has everything you need except food. Walmart is only 17 min. away,

Restful and beautiful views

2 retired couples with small dogs looking for a place to relax and enjoy friends and each other and found it here. Amenities were all there. Very clean older farm type house on 40 acres with a pond. A trail is kept mowed to walk the acreage. Pond, Picnic table and fire pit a short walk from the house. Has grill provided. Enjoyed watching the deer walk thru. Beautiful sunsets.minutes from Houghton/Hancock and a short drive to Copper Harbor.

Keweenaw Vacation

House is as pictured and described online. We were there when there was a few really warm days, directions on how to cool the house down were detailed and helpful. I felt it was still stuffy upstairs in the tv room, so it would have been nice to have a tv downstairs on the rainy day we were there. Some of the windows upstairs didn’t have screens so i didn’t feel like you could get a good breeze. Dogs enjoyed running in the yard and around the pond. Host was quick and responsive upon arrival when we needed to contact them. Quiet location, with some pretty sunsets in the evening and close to town if you need anything. Reasonable distance for exploring the area.

FANTASTIC!!!

Beautiful property! What a view from back deck! Saw deer, family of turkeys wandering the property and coyotes must have a home behind bass pond. Most mornings would see them running on path when I went fishing. Caught a few bass about 12". The morning, we were leaving a huge bass jumped, sounded like someone dropped a bowling ball in the water! As I was collecting up fishing gear to go home 😒 Super clean inside with plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and our pups. Great time had by all!

Keewanaw acres

Beautiful house and property surrounding area as well. There is so much to explore in the Keewanaw. The host was great, nice big clean house and property with stock bass pond. My family had a great time here i would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful acreage

While the house was well stocked, clean and everything we wanted, what was really nice was the land around the house. There are well maintained trails leading down to a beautiful pond and around the acreage. We like to look for birds so it was ideal for us presenting an Indigo Bunting and a Sandhill Crane among other species. Lots of fun.

UP Baby!

We had a great experience at this property. Lots of outdoors to explore . Very natural setting that is also close to Houghton. Can't wait to get back there next winter for Carnival. Hoping there is more snow! House was very comfortable and clean. Well stocked kitchen with all needed appliances. Would love to see the property in the other 3 seasons.

Great time

The house was as advertised. We really enjoyed the setting and being out of town but close to be able to explore and easily visit with my son at MTU. We enjoyed the trails and being able to walk around the property. Loved being able to bring our dogs with us!!

A slice of Heaven

The listing was wonderful. But upon arriving we saw and experienced that it was so much more! We were having a family gathering and it was the perfect place. Lots of nooks and crannies for people to gather in private groups. Very well furnished and a very well equipped kitchen . We hope to be able to return one day.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this vrbo. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. We will definitely return. We saw lots of wildlife on the property. Deer, turkey, sandhill cranes, eagles, hawks, pileated woodpeckers and hummingbirds. A nice place to relax and unwind. With a view of some spectacular sunsets. And located perfectly for visiting nearby towns. The house was very clean and stocked well with everything we needed.
