Quiet Charlottetown House

This is an older home that has character, it does need some updating which is expected. We were 7 adults and had ample space. This home does not have AC and the air circulation is poor thru the house. This has been discussed with the owner and she is aware of the situation.

A Great Get Away

The house was ideal for us. It was clean and well equipped. My only suggestion would be a little more heat in the late summer and early fall. We certainly enjoyed our stay there and if we go back to PEI I would surely want to book it again.

Ideally situated comfortable house

Property is a good 30 minute walk (along the waterfront preferably) away from historic Charlottetown and about a 5 minute drive from the nearest grocery store. The inside of the house was spotless and had everything we wanted. It is ideal for a family share as the downstairs was completely self contained with a bedroom bathroom and T.V. area. Only thing of note is the noise from the other property. Now I have to say we heard nothing from him except when he went in and out and it sounded like somebody was trying to break into our house. Thank goodness we had read a previous review about it. I would highly recommend this house for a couple or indeed a bigger group sharing.

Great Charlottetown location

This home is very spacious, all of the rooms are quite large with lots of closets to put away our luggage, etc while we were there. The location is within walking distance of Victoria Park and is close to grocery and shopping areas as well. It made a great home base while we explored PEI

I've stayed in many many VRBOs. This was the best equipped I've ever been in. The home was spacious, inviting, clean and very livable. We loved relaxing on the deck, walking to the bay and the closeness of proximity to the downtown area. The TV is a bit antiquated and may need some 'attention'. Handy location in Charlottetown

This rental is two floors of a three floor house. I mention this because we thought someone was breaking in or the place was haunted, until we realized there is an apartment in the sub-basement. This home is very comfortable and has all the amenities listed and more. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but close to major roads. A short ride to downtown Charlottetown. There is a lovely deck with lounge chairs and a grill. Solar hot water works great! No complaints except the surprise of the lower apartment. Communication with the landlord, using the link for messages here, was quick and helpful when we had trouble finding more paper products. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great vacation stay.

Perfect fit

We stayed here for 10 night - My wife and I, two daughters and two grandkids (10 & 15) I was the perfect living arrangements for our stay. very spacious, quiet street and no safety concerns. It was ideal location for use , walking distance to any stores or restaurants. Would stay here again without any hesitation

Some kind of instructions regarding different features of the house .

The location of the property was wonderful. The layout of the house was great! It would’ve been nice to have some kind of instructions left at the house that were in writing. We just happen to notice a piece of paper for example in the living area that had a number scribbled on it. It ended up being the password for the Wi-Fi. I would think that there should be a list of the features of the house to make it easier to figure things out. The house had a front door with a numeric lock system. I did message the property owner for the code which was great but we had to figure out how to use the code and the door in order to lock and unlock the door. Little things but overall a great house and a great location.
