Beautiful accomodations! Made full use of kitchen and grill - cookout one night, big batch of stew the next. Used fireplace for roaring evening fire with a movie on the TV's Roku. My favorite was the observation deck to rear of house - both mornings, I sat there with coffee and book and used the outdoor fireplace to take the edge off the morning chill. The view from there is so peaceful - looking into beautiful surrounding woods on a steep slope with greens and rocks. First time to Wintergreen for myself, 15yo son and two of his friends. Cozy Cabin for a weekend getaway

Perfect stay and would 100% do it again

This was my first experience with a Vrbo stay and it was perfect. The property was better than advertised, communication was great, it was clean, and the location was perfect for Wintergreen Resort activities. I would seek this property out again for future stays.We had one problem due to a local energy company outage and the property manager was extremely responsive and concerned. It was resolved very quickly and she followed up continuously even though it was out of her control and didn't last very long. That gave us even more confidence and peace of mind. Highly recommend this property!

Wintergreen cabin

Great Holiday Getaway

We booked this for our Thanksgiving and a Birthday weekend. It was perfect for the my wife and I and our 2 year old. Comfortable and great neighborhood. We took advantage of the cart path for the golf course for morning walks. Kirstyn was very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay and would definitely recommend this location for a quiet get away with the family.

Quiet, cozy, comfy.

Charming home nestled in the woods with great privacy, peace and quiet. Close to the spa and amenities. The house was clean, spacious and everything was flawless with our stay. The bed in the master was super comfortable. We also enjoyed the multiple outdoor decks for lounging. The host was very attentive and available, we would stay again for sure

Fall Girl’s Trip

We enjoyed our stay in Wintergreen. Unseasonably cold temps but wasn’t an issue for us We had everything we needed at the house. The beds were very comfortable. The heat worked well. We would return to this house if we return to Wintergreen. We loved the new pizza restaurant At the top of mountain Fire and Frost

Lovely and secluded mountain get-away

House very nice, clean and in good condition. Very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. A few minor things needed some attention, and I discussed those with the property manager. We were without water for about 16 hours, apparently due to a water main break somewhere nearby. The property manager was very helpful and kept us well updated as to the progress in repairing it. Some of the decks and outside wooden stairs will need some attention, mainly paint, in the near future.

Great place to stay

Excellent cabin that we would definitely book again. Everything was as advertised. We came in spring for graduation and was an hour from historical sites we visited and the university. Convenient groceries nearby. We did not use the “stairway to heaven” because we didn’t have enough time but did walk up and it was all in good condition. EXCELLENT roads to get there. It is definitely a mountain road with lots of curves but wide with good markings and very very good condition.

Quiet and relaxing weekend in the woods

The house was very comfortable. We had a quiet, relaxing weekend with our daughter (weekend escape from college). We spend part of the day at the Oktoberfest event hosted by the club. Both evenings we saw coyotes running around - very cool to see.

Cozy home in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet home in the woods. It is an ideal size for 2 couples or a small family. The layout makes it perfect for visiting and it has everything you need. The host responded immediately to any questions and check in was a breeze. It is just a short drive to the outdoor pool and there are incredible trails throughout Wintergreen. Lovely decks (upper and lower) are surrounded by trees and a forest of ferns. The beds are very comfortable. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Nice weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was perfect for our family (5 people). It was cozy and had everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. It was close to golfing and nice hiking trails, and the owners were very friendly and responsive.

Winter going into Spring

Very comfortable house and very quiet part of Wintergreen Resort. Highly recommended! We were there for the last snows of Winter and left just as Spring reached the mountain top.

Great location and comfortable home

The location is atop the mountain and a short ride into the village. For our first family ski vacation, we were comfortable and cozy, even with a blizzard outside. The community was well maintained in the weather and the house was plenty room for the four of us. Our host was quick to respond to my questions and even pointed us to a good source for snow tubing tickets that were otherwise sold out.

Home Owner Was Great

We rented this house for a ski weekend and a storm was forecasted to roll in. The home owner was very communicative and helpful. She provided information about the storm and how to access shovels etc. and even offered a late check-out if the the snow was too much for us to leave. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness. House was lovely and cozy.

Nice comfortable property
