Beautiful accomodations! Made full use of kitchen and grill - cookout one night, big batch of stew the next. Used fireplace for roaring evening fire with a movie on the TV's Roku. My favorite was the observation deck to rear of house - both mornings, I sat there with coffee and book and used the outdoor fireplace to take the edge off the morning chill. The view from there is so peaceful - looking into beautiful surrounding woods on a steep slope with greens and rocks. First time to Wintergreen for myself, 15yo son and two of his friends. Perfect stay and would 100% do it again

This was my first experience with a Vrbo stay and it was perfect. The property was better than advertised, communication was great, it was clean, and the location was perfect for Wintergreen Resort activities. I would seek this property out again for future stays.We had one problem due to a local energy company outage and the property manager was extremely responsive and concerned. It was resolved very quickly and she followed up continuously even though it was out of her control and didn't last very long. That gave us even more confidence and peace of mind. Highly recommend this property!

Great Holiday Getaway

We booked this for our Thanksgiving and a Birthday weekend. It was perfect for the my wife and I and our 2 year old. Comfortable and great neighborhood. We took advantage of the cart path for the golf course for morning walks. Kirstyn was very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay and would definitely recommend this location for a quiet get away with the family.

Charming home nestled in the woods with great privacy, peace and quiet. Close to the spa and amenities. The house was clean, spacious and everything was flawless with our stay. The bed in the master was super comfortable. We also enjoyed the multiple outdoor decks for lounging. The host was very attentive and available, we would stay again for sure

Fall Girl’s Trip

We enjoyed our stay in Wintergreen. Unseasonably cold temps but wasn’t an issue for us We had everything we needed at the house. The beds were very comfortable. The heat worked well. Lovely and secluded mountain get-away

House very nice, clean and in good condition. Very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. A few minor things needed some attention, and I discussed those with the property manager. We were without water for about 16 hours, apparently due to a water main break somewhere nearby. The property manager was very helpful and kept us well updated as to the progress in repairing it. Some of the decks and outside wooden stairs will need some attention, mainly paint, in the near future.

Great place to stay

Excellent cabin that we would definitely book again. Everything was as advertised. We came in spring for graduation and was an hour from historical sites we visited and the university. Convenient groceries nearby. We did not use the “stairway to heaven” because we didn’t have enough time but did walk up and it was all in good condition. EXCELLENT roads to get there. It is definitely a mountain road with lots of curves but wide with good markings and very very good condition.

Quiet and relaxing weekend in the woods

The house was very comfortable. We had a quiet, relaxing weekend with our daughter (weekend escape from college). We spend part of the day at the Oktoberfest event hosted by the club. Both evenings we saw coyotes running around - very cool to see.
