Nellysford Spring

Lovely home in Stoney Creek near golf course. Great walking and hiking nearby. Marla is great- easy to communicate with and the home is spacious and comfortable for a family of mixed ages. Loved having 2 masters on the main floor. The outdoor porch is wonderful. The hot tub was an added bonus. We look forward to staying again this fall.

The house is spacious with all the conveniences of home in a beautiful neighborhood/location. It is even more beautiful than depicted in the Vrbo pictures. Marla was very responsive and helpful. Thanksgiving Getaway

A lovely house in a great Golf Resort community. House is spacious and well maintained. Addition of hot tub was not on the property listing, so we were not prepared to enjoy it. Otherwise, a great stay.

Excellent Rental

The area is beautiful and our crew really enjoyed their stay at your rental. It was very spacious, clean, and in a great location. The host was friendly and prompt with communications. We would definitely love to come back.

Wedding Weekend

Comfortable and perfect in every way

This us our 2nd time staying for a fall weekend away to do a tour of the breweries/cideries/wineries. Perfectly relaxing, clean, well stocked, spacious, comfortable furniture and bedding. Love having the hot tub to end a long perfect day. Nice paths to walk the neighborhood. Had Tee time, but got cancelled from overnight rain. Next time want to bring tennis rackets, didn't realize we had access to amenities. This will be on top of our list for next year too! The 3rd night was well worth having! Thanks Marla!

Absolutely Beautiful

What a fantastic weekend! We rented this property for a family wine-trasting weekend and it could not have been more wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and incredibly well stocked. The location was perfect for visiting all the breweries and wineries. We were 5 couples and had plenty of space. We loved hanging out on the screened in porch. I can't say enough - we will be back!

Very nice and roomy for a lot of people

We really enjoyed our stay here... there were 6 adults and lots of cooking and TV enjoyment. Water heater didn't quite keep up for showers, so we just staggered them... The owners were prompt on any inquiries and we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The SPACIOUS back porch was WONDERFUL (and deer that came to visit a few times made it even better!). The kitchen was incredibly well stocked... no need to bring anything... and having plenty of towels and TP in bathrooms.. nice! Truly a great place to stay. Will keep this in my SAVED places!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was clean and very comfortably accommodated my family for my son’s graduation. It was a bit of a drive to campus but it was easy to get there. There are several wineries, breweries and restaurants near the house as well. I would stay here again

Blended Perfection

Perfect location to enjoy local breweries, distilleries and restaurants but also close enough to enjoy the ski resort . Warm , very clean and comfortable house with all amenities that supported a large group but also allowed for individual privacy . Communication with owner was outstanding and this house has our highest recommendation ! We would definitely stay here again .!

Beautiful home perfect for multiple couples

This was our favorite home we have stayed at in the area so far. It was a great size with multiple master suites. It is perfect for multiple families. We liked that it was not located up on the mountain so it was easier to access. The hot tub and screened in porch were wonderful. We even enjoyed playing games and just spending time together in the large gathering area. We will be looking to book here again for our stays and highly recommend it. The host was always very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Great stay

House was extremely clean and well stocked. Was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. Loved the layout and plenty of sofas to allow a nice gathering space after dinner. Best home we have rented and will consider another stay in the future since it's located near many vineyards and breweries. A 5star stay for sure

Another great stay

Second time renting this home and again we loved our stay. Perfect location for what we like to do (breweries and wineries!), and the house is very well maintained. The owner is super easy to work with, and her hospitality and communication makes it even better. Will definitely return!

Clean and very spacious

Loved the 3 king suites, great for our group of adults. Very spacious rooms and common areas. Newer appliances, super well stocked with everything! Pretty mountain view from front porch. Private wooded lot nestled in upscale golf community. Walking trail. 5 mins drive to Paul's Creek hike. Marla was very responsive to maintenance issue. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Right in the center of the valley!

This property did not undersell! With an excellent central location for local food, beer, wine, cider, distilleries, and even meads, gastro tourists of all stripes can find something for their stomachs! The house itself was laid out well for our group of 10 which included adults and children in all of the common areas, a difficult order in many homes! The owner was responsive and pleasant and we had no issues in our interactions with them or the resort the property is on. :)

Graduation weekend

Plenty of space, great location- close to wineries and breweries and walking paths. Loved the deck! Owner very accommodating with early check in and recommendations. Surprised that there were not some basic kitchen items- salt or sugar etc.. That is not typical and would have been helpful to know in the description of the property.

Wonderful stay in wine country

The home was beautiful and set in the majestic mountains of VA. It’s a quick 20 minutes to some of the best wineries and 2 miles from large breweries like Bold Rock. The home was large enough to comfortably fit a group of 12 with gathering areas such as the large screened in porch and beautiful vaulted ceilings living room.

Exceeded my expectations!

Wow! I can't speak highly enough of Marla and her property. She was accommodating to our every need and ensured a relaxing stay in her beautiful mountain home. Some of the highlights - ample parking, large screened-in porch, close to a grocery store and comfortable beds. The kids especially loved the hot tub! We will definitely be back. Look no further; you've found the perfect place.
