Loveshack, a charming tiny house on a 5 acre farm

  • You won’t forget your time in the Loveshack! This charming tiny house is located only 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville, while keeping a farm stay feel. After entering through the commercial kitchen and marble archway into the living room, there is a spiral staircase to lead you to the upstairs which has two queen sized beds. Just off the living room the bathroom has a luxuriously spacious jacuzzi, a shower, and heated floors; also three sliding glass doors will bring you to the spacious patio. Lots of close by vineyards and wineries, under an hour from wintergreen and many hiking trails **** there is currently no stove but there is an induction burner, Icant figure out how to modify that so putting this here****

I stay at the love shack was amazing me and my partner definitely enjoyed ourselves. Nice and quiet perfect place to get away with the loved one. Virginia was great with communicating and responded fast overall 10/10 experience and we will be back.

An amazing honeymoon spot!

Looking at the house from the front and outside you wouldn’t think much of the place. Getting inside though it was absolutely awesome! Perfect honeymoon/ anniversary spot for your significant other especially if you’re into certain “kinks” so to speak 😂 The host was very responsive and great to us the whole time! Also very private spot which was a huge plus for us newlyweds! We will definitely be back to this spot on future vacations!

I really wish you could post pictures so you can actually see what the property conditions really is. The Shed that you are renting doesn’t have correctly working fixtures in bathtub. Doesn’t have correctly working lights but it does have a shower fixture on kitchen wall to put out a kitchen fire directly over your electrical appliances. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t approved by fire marshal. Has a few creature comforts and many creatures to crawl in your luggage also. Listing is a farcry from what you are going to expect when you arrive and definitely not what you see in the VBRO pictures. And the missing drywall and fluffy insulation that’s hanging out of the wall upstairs will make you all warm and fuzzy all nite or maybe that’s just the complimentary infestation. But don’t be alarmed the host does offer a complimentary bag of Decon if you have any issues durning your stay.

Romantic tiny house

This tiny house was great for some alone time with your partner. The only downsides were, there was a coffee pot you could make coffee on the stove, but no coffee maker. Your are set out in the country some, so some insects are to be expected, but they mostly stayed on the first floor, there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen (windows were rustic, so they were coming in there) we just kept any food in the fridge. The handle on the tub is broken off, and we found it weird that already used bar soap was still in the tub. We overall enjoyed our time together, and it was private when we were there.

Affordable, serene UVA graduation weekend getaway

A few miles from Monticello and several wineries, this was much quieter and more accommodating than a hotel room in Charlottesville on graduation weekend. I'm glad I brought my beach chair to enjoy quiet sunny moments on the deck that surrounded the home on three sides. When I opened the patio door curtains on graduation morning, I was greeted by a lone deer, who, after a few moments of mutual respect, resumed eating in the field. The furnishings (bedding, towels, sofa, carpet) were comfortable. The kitchen was spacious for preparing - but not for sitting to eat. Although it's hard to see in the pictures, the shower head is high above the garden tub. I had everything I needed. (There are plenty of ceiling struts upstairs. Bring your own hangars. And your own blow drier, if you need one.)

The stay was great!! The upstairs, WOW!! Highly recommend staying here. Virginia was great to work with. We will be back. The only complaint if there is one would be you are in the back yard of a rental house. It’s not private as the picture leads you to believe. But we will be back!

OMG - this was the cutest place ever. Way more room inside than it appears. It is the perfect cozy get away for a couple. Many things to do in the area. The host was very pleasing to communicate with.Highly recommended for a quick weekend get away….
