  • This beautiful Virginia home is located in the historic part of Charlottesville, right near Thomas Jefferson's court house and walking distance to Charlottesville's Downtown Mall featuring The Paramount Theater, restaurants, and shops. The elegantly furnished primary suite has a king bed and an adjoining private bath. Amenities include A/C, TV in shared space, and WiFi. This is a classic Bed & Breakfast style accommodation, hosted by an on-site host who serves breakfast each morning. Your hostess, Sue, has been hosting with Guesthouses for nearly 50 years and is a true gem. You will enjoy her playing the piano in the downstairs parlor or reminiscing about Charlottesville's history.

    Walking distance to the Downtown Mall, the Corner, and McIntire Park. Just a short drive away from Monticello, vineyards, and golf courses. Street parking is available nearby- please monitor city signs and park accordingly.

Love this place

Room is gorgeous, and roomy, the whole house is beautiful. Excellent location, walking distance to all and the host was so helpful in guiding us to all the best locations. We were there for a wedding, staying here made the weekend more perfect.

Wonderful host, beautiful home, lovely room

Quiet, lovely neighborhood, beautiful historic home, close to downtown mall. Our host was very kind and accommodating. Check in and out was uncomplicated. I would definitely stay there again, and enjoy every minute.

Lovely Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Bed & Breakfast right off of the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. Sue was a gracious host who made a wonderful breakfast each morning. Our room and restroom were very large, well-decorated and had everything we needed. Will definitely try to stay here again on future trips!

Amazing host!

Sue is a wonderful person and was a joy to see welcoming us in and out from our various adventures in Cville. We would stay here again in a moment. Breakfasts were delicious homemade pastries and breads that I am still thinking about :)

Fantastic home in downtown Charlottesville!

Wonderful bedroom in a beautiful home. A short walk to downtown restaurants and shops. A great location to visit Monticello or the wine trail! The host is delightful! The “continental” breakfast with fresh baked treats daily is a perfect way to start your day!

It was close to the Main Street yet very quiet neighborhood. Sue was an excellent hostess and served very delicious breakfasts ... especially enjoyed her blueberry scones :- )

Sue and her home are lovely!

Charming bed and breakfast. Sue is welcoming, sweet and accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed, in a great location walkable to the downtown mall. If we ever go back, we’ll stay with her again!

Great place, great location, and wonderful host

This 100+ year old house with modern features is just a couple of blocks from the downtown mall. The room was spacious and comfortable. The owner was flexible with having breakfast ready on our schedule, served a great meal, and was warm and friendly. We highly recommend this place and will be staying with Miss Sue again in the future.
