It wasn’t as I thought . Inside looked very worn and in need of deep clean . Interior doors are falling apart. Capet is very worn and dirty. The walls were dirty . Also the lights upstairs only have 1or 2 working the rest are burnt out . The home needs some TLC . Great location no doubt .

Semi-local weekend getaway

We rode the train in from Durham, and wanted a place close enough to walk to Discovery Place! This property was absolutely perfect for the whole family to walk! Beds were comfy, and all amenities were great!

Weekend Trip

The property is great with a fantastic location very close to a wide variation of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The layout of the property, especially the bedrooms is a little quirky, but it worked out great for a short weekend guys trip. Laura was great and communicated everything clearly about the stay.

Great Location

Great location. House was ok, but kept too warm during day, and was a bit musty upstairs. Unfortunately, had a spat with the owner. I was charged twice for parking fee. When I nicely asked her to refund one payment, she started sending very strong and accusatory messages blaming me for carpet stains that were already there and acting like I trashed her house because I did not wipe down kitchen counter. She demanded both parking fees for these "offenses." Too bad because otherwise the place is pretty good and really well located for downtown activities.

Stop over on family vacation

Laura’s place is wonderful. Talk about everything and anything you need in one home. We went with two small kids and they loved it. We walked around the city, which was walking distance from her house, and had a blast. You could literally just come into the home with nothing and have everything ya needed. Will stay again next year on our way to Hilton head!

Loved walking around the neighborhood. We were there in February and none of the fountains were running but the yards and parks were still beautiful. Would love to see it in the spring. House was the best supplied house I have ever stayed at. Comfortable beds and very clean

great house is a great location

Perfect spot for attending events at the Spectrum Center or Panthers Stadium. Its a short 15 min walk to Spectrum. Several restaurants and bars nearby. The house is very clean, extremely well stocked, and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommend!

Concerts and more

We recently moved away from Charlotte after being there for 8 years. We miss it dearly. This home is the perfect location for us as we visit friends and places we fell in love with. This trip was a dentist trip that turned into a night out at Spectrum for the Doja Cat concert. The home location is wonderful because it is walking distance from most main locations in Uptown and Tupelo Honey, where we use to work! Felt great to walk down the road and see everyone! The house itself is very private and set up perfectly! Overall, the trip was amazing! We hope to come back soon!

Great location and friendly host

Nice location in the Fourth Ward of Uptown Charlotte. Easy walking distance to many of the attractions on Tryon Street. The host did a great job prior to check in and made sure that all the necessary details were communicated.
