Beautiful views of Stumpy Creek. Calm waters great for kayaking. Sandy beach area for our Golden retriever to go in for a swim. Love the sunroom.

Family Time at Lake Norman

We had a great family vacation and really enjoyed the relaxing lake house. We roasted s’mores over the fire pit every night while watching at least 15 deer walk through the property. The hammock and tritoon boat were big hits.

modern furninshings - great water

A nicely updated, spacious home with a well appointed kitchen. comfortable beds and linens. Extra amenities - soap, shampoo and body lotion in each bathroom. There is a new home being constructed next door - wait until this is finished to rent. It is loud.

Summer Vacation

Overall we loved the property. The house has been completely remodeled and well furnished although the island in the kitchen was original with the cabinets not closing and no soft close on the cabinets that were replaced but otherwise just like the pictures. The yard was much smaller than the pictures made it seem but amazing secluded spot. There will soon be construction on a new house next door so I hope that finishes quickly! The water was so warm, we spent most of our time there. The firepit was a cool spot to hangout with the kids all night. The grill was only a flattop but it worked out better than I thought. Requested a late checkout and it was denied with no explanation so we had to get everyone up early but overall would highly recommend this home!

Great Lake House

Perfect swimming spot! Kayaked a lot, brought our own boat. Perfect set up for two families with the split bedrooms. Plenty of space. Property is awesome and loved the deer!!!

Great getaway for our family!

The house was exactly as advertised. The whole process with stay Lake Norman was effortless. This might be the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. Would definitely come back.

Definitely returning!

Summer Status had everything we needed to make our end of summer getaway perfect. The view from the house, porch and fire pit is stunning. Easy flat walk to the dock and loved having access to kayaks to explore quiet coves. Comfortable beds and couch. Well equipped kitchen and grill for outside barbecue. Home nicely decorated and extras like spices, beach towels, and wine upon arrival were appreciated touches. We just found our annual Lake Norman getaway spot and can’t wait to return!

Very Nice property. But property management company failed us

a beautiful property. However, on the 2nd day of our stay we lost power for 48 hours. the house was inhabitable as not only was there no electric but no water as well. The management company was very difficult to reach during this time and has been since as well. They did not answer phone calls, only texts and offered no solutions to us except to provide flashlights, water, and ice. we were forced to move to a hotel. We have attempted to discuss this with the management company, Stay Lake Norman, but have never been able to reach anyone. Every time we call, we are put through to after hours (and we have been calling during normal work hours) where we have left multiple call back messages, but to date no one has returned our calls. We are extremely disappointed with the way in which they are handling this.

Yearly Summer Vacation

We spent a wonderful week enjoying this lovely rental. The property was better than described. Well equipped with all the necessities very roomy and comfortable AND we were able to bring our two little dogs without an extra charge. Checkin and checkout went smoothly as did the boat rental for the first 3 days of our stay. Timeless Charming Lake House

The lake house was enchanting. The views of Lake Norman were beautiful. The house was very accommodating and had all the comforts of home. Our stay was so enjoyable and memorable that we would love to come back next year.

Ideal weekend getaway

The property was absolutely perfect. The pictures represent everything well but don’t capture the striking view of the water when you first walk in the front door. The area is quiet and beautiful. The house was clean and the furnishings perfect and accommodated all of our needs. The area wildlife was fun to watch. There were only three of us and we could see that the place could accommodate 10 very comfortably. Only things I would suggest-and they are minor-would be to provide starter logs in the outdoor fire pit and upgrade the bed pillows. Even without those changes this property can’t be beat. And the property manager-Stay Lake Norman-is exceptional. Not a detail left unanswered and very proactive engagement before, during and after stay.

Beautiful Home

Really liked the home, beautiful and everything was clean and the views are breathtaking. Issue was the bugs that would show up at night in bathroom which made it uncomfortable to use. Whole family using one bathroom was untenable. They apologized that the pest control did not contact me. Otherwise would have been 5 stars all around!

Perfect everything.

This home checks all the boxes. Comfort, location, layout, cleanliness. Just perfect. Multiple spots to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Even covered spots doe the rain. The house came loaded with soaps, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper and even Pam for cooking. By far one of the best properties we have ever rented.

So Amazing!

I booked this last minute and it was the best getaway ever! The views - amazing! This lakeside retreat had all the bells and whistles, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The decor made it feel cozy, and the extra touches like the games and puzzles, fully equipped kitchen (especially the Keurig coffee maker), couldn’t have made this more perfect. A few favs: seeing the deer each night pass through, watching sunrises and sunsets, sitting on the pier and feeling the gentle breeze, making S’mores over the fire pit, making chocolate chip cookies, playing a few card games, and being able to “work from home” during our stay - in the sunroom - with that incredible view. I could have stayed forever. And my little sidekick, Hank (mini schnauzer) loooooved looking out at the lake too. I can’t wait to visit this amazing home again!! It’s at the top of my list!

Relaxing Getaway

We could not be happier with our choice of this Lakehouse. The house is exactly as pictured, so beautiful! Everything was high quality and made for a relaxing, comfortable, and easy vacation. The lake was stunning, our experience and stay here could not have been better! We would 100% recommend.

Summer Status Review

Clean (check), clear arrival/departure instructions (check), ample kitchen (check), comfy couch (check), nice dock (check), kayaks (check), TV access for college and NFL football on a fall weekend (no check, but we found a way to stream from a computer), required to roll cans full of trash that wasn't from our stay to the street (check, but that's seems to be the norm with VRBO rentals). All in all, nothing of any major concern. Highly recommend. We would stay in the house again
