The home was good for our family and great location. My only gripes are that the deck is in rough shape and a hazard, and they only provided us with 8 towels and no back up linens whatsoever. In the description it said towels were provided but “suggested” bringing beach towels but that towels were provided. It was a towel a person for an entire week lol. Also they said there was a baby gate provided and upon looking and not finding it we called and they brought one over but it did not fit the opening it was to small we didn’t call back.

We had a great time staying here for the Memorial Day weekend. The house was great, the beds were very comfortable, the kids loved jumping/swimming off the dock and we enjoyed using the kayaks. The area of the lake was very calm, what little boat traffic there were was very slow as it is in a no wake zone. Highly recommend this property!

Great property!

The property is great - very nicely kept interior. Would benefit from an exterior clean (lots of cobwebs in the window screens and on/around the deck and entry, and some overgrown bushes on the stairs) and new towels (they smell like rotten).

Great waterfront property for my family vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much at your beautiful property . The owner accommodated an earlier check in for my family since we had a wedding to attend so we could get ready in the home and go . Everything was clean , property was beautiful and we had a terrific time . Thank you again

Great home for a family with teens!! 2nd time same house!

Had a wonderful trip with my boyfriend, another couple and four teen boys. We all had our own space and living area. The boat dock is beautiful and perfect for fishing, which the boys did each night. We rented a boat all weekend and parked it in the slip. Overall the whole weekend was a fun time and glad we rented this same house again for our annual Lake Norman Trip.

Family Events

Stayed with our 3 adult children, their partners and our 3 month old grandbaby. Kitchen was well equipped and we were out most days but enjoyed nice brunches and some quiet times around the tv at night

Perfect location for our weekend

Good location, (right on the lake, how much better could that be!) great house, right number of bedrooms and good set up. The 2nd bath is just outside the master so it can be easily shared with other BRs. We had a small issue during our stay that the manager took care of quickly. Highly recommend!

The house is clean and beautiful but be wary of supplies.

First off the house is beautiful. Decorated lovely, clean, in a wonderful neighborhood and plenty of space for our group of 6. But I have some complaints. I have only personally rented on VRBO twice and total on sites alike three times. Therefore maybe I’m just not aware what to check when arriving. You may want to go to the store after arrival. So they aren’t joking about minimal paper towels and toilet paper provided. I always grab a small pack of TP and paper towels. However they only provided one small roll and that would’ve been ok with my two for the 4 nights but there were no dish towels. So everything you washed including your hands you had to use a paper towel. So we ran out the last evening and had to use a bath rag to clean up some spilled Mac and cheese. Also there was no gas in the grill which I only found out after I started it, which it started, and was about to put my food on. There were supposed to be two extras on site and there were not. Now after a short freak out and some calls I went and did an exchange and the property manager did call me back pretty quickly and they did reimburse me plus some so I was much appreciative of that. They did apologize and resolve so that’s why 4 stars. Also no other basics in the pantry really but salt and pepper. Also the dish drainer is pretty but it caused a wine glass to fall and break bc it was not flat but some grass looking thing. All and all good but could’ve been great with a little more attention.

House was just as described. We have stayed six different places over the years this was our favorite. Plenty of room to park even with boat and double jet ski trailer. We were up quite cove with nice boat dock. Thanks

This house was perfect for multiple families with kids! The fence was reassuring to keep little ones from getting to the water unsupervised! Would love to visit again!

Family weekend

Overall we had a great time. Rented a boat tubing fishing lounging. Inside of house was clean however outside decks were full of cob webs pollen and sticks. Couldn’t sit outside.

Awesome place for family get together

Very nice place and perfect space for our family get together. The kitchen is well equipped to cook anything you may need. The listing doesn't show, but there is a fire pit down by the lake that we enjoyed in the evening. We will definitely consider this place in the summer and bring our pontoon with us. The deck is large enough for all of us to hang out, cook on the grill and enjoy the weather. There are security cameras that are not listed in the listing. Would recommend this house.

Great stay!

My family really enjoyed our stay! The kayaks were a big hit (although the older gentleman scolded us for leaving them in his grass!) he was nice, but we did not know rules about where the Kayaks could be left when not in use during the day. My kids hopped on and off several times so we left them out until dark. I would suggest noting where the property line is located and where proper storage of the kayaks would be “allowed”. The house was conveniently located and in a quiet cove. We had most everything we needed during the stay and then some! The baby gate was not in the home so we did have to buy one once we arrived. Honestly, you need two for top and bottom of stairs since it’s a split level. We had our one year old with us so he was constantly heading toward the staircase. Otherwise, we had a nice visit and would return!
