We've been using VRBO for 10 years, and this was by far the cleanest, most well thought out rental we've ever stayed at.The unit had absolutely everything we needed.The location was perfect, and Trish and Bob were delightful hosts!We will definitely be staying at this lake house again.

What a wonderful stay! The apartment had everything we needed and was spotless, with a beautiful lake view. Trish was an excellent host who provided great extras like a kayak, board games, and life jackets that we really appreciated. We enjoyed swimming and relaxing on the deck with amazing views - the sunrise was absolutely beautiful. The room setup and overall home layout was perfect for our family of four. The location was also convenient for getting around to other places. Highly recommend!

So quiet and peaceful yet close to anything you want to do. The apartment was beautifully decorated and great for a couple or family. The hosts thought of everything you might need. Great view of the lake from the covered patio as well as the living area.

Repeat Visit

We enjoyed our first visit so much last year that we returned for another visit. The kayaks, paddle board, and basketball hoop made it hard for our kids to leave the property. A great trip, and the hosts are very kind and provide much more than the typical basics.

Aug vac w my Daughter.

I just got home from my trip back in NY. So this is about my fifth vacation rental. I have done over the last 3 to 4 years. This trip I let my daughter pick the place which was a little nerve-racking. And due to an unfortunate personal matter after booking we had to change and rearrange the days, which after speaking to the host, Trish worked out perfectly. So we were already off to a great start. This year my daughter brought a friend. When we arrived at the rental, we were delighted. It was a perfect little neighborhood close to the main roads and things that we already had knowledge of. We walked into the rental, which was the second floor above a garage and it was absolutely perfect. Everything looked brand new perfect amount of space, with a huge deck overlooking the lake/Cove as we settled in and started unpacking. We started making a list to go food shopping for the rental had all brand new appliances. Naturally, the girls walk down to the lake and the host. Trish and her husband Bob came over very nice people and ironically they came from New York as well. Unfortunately we had to leave at the end of the vacation but definitely recommend this rental as we are planning to go back in April, possibly if not, definitely in August again.

Great stay

Trish is a thoughtful and wonderful host and the apartment has such beautiful and thoughtful touches. We had a lovely time and our two young boys had an especially great time playing in the yard and in the lake.

Great lake oasis.

Excellent stay! We loved fishing, swimming, and kayaking off the dock. Place was very clean and well-appointed with everything we needed to feel at home. Location is close to stores and restaurants and the hosts are very responsive.

Beautiful płace on Lake Norman

It was a perfect relaxing vacation…would love to come back again. Trish and Bob were wonderful hosts and were great at communicating and very quick to reply with any questions. The house was sparkling clean with all amenities we needed and had a beautiful decor. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked with cooking basics. We liked the handcrafted soaps, lotions etc. There were plenty of towels, different kind of games, kayaks, paddle board and all kind of floats. We miss the beautiful view that we enjoyed especially at night time.

This property is amazing! I truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the beauty of the apartment and the view, and the kindness of the owner! This stay was exactly what I was looking for! Awesome place on Lake Norman

We had a great stay at this property. Super clean and comfortable. The kayaks and paddle board were heavily used by our group, and Trish was helpful with anything we needed. Loved the small touches like handmade soap and cooking basics!

Lakeside Treasure

The lake apartment was as advertised! Sparkling clean, crisp, fresh decor and all well-equipped. Trish thinks of everything and provided ample towels, (including beach towels for the lake), lovely local amenities (handcrafted soaps and lotions from Sue’s Soap Shop), lovely kitchen wares, etc. We spent lots of time on our large private deck enjoying the lake views from the comfy couches and swinging hammock chair, delighting in the the frolicking squirrels stealing food from the bird feeder below, and the occasional blue heron perching on the dock. Everything was made available to us including kayaks and paddle board, floaties for the lake, and she was even kind enough to loan us her ice chest when we rented a pontoon boat for the day. She also offered suggestions for local attractions. She proactively provided additional supplies (toilet paper) and was responsive to all our needs. If and when we return to Lake Norman we would love to stay again. Thank you to Trish, Bob and their sweet pups - Bella, Baby, and Biscuit!

Wonderful stay at Lake Norman

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and very relaxing. Trish and Bob were the perfect hosts! Very friendly and attentive- made us feel right at home. We enjoy kayaking and sitting on the porch swing. Hope to return soon!
