This was my wife and I’s second stay at this house. It’s in a great location close to the state park for launching my fishing boat. It’s a real bonus to have a covered boat slip and car port for the nights that it rains. Beds were comfortable and everything very clean. Pool table and darts downstairs with the other bedroom and very large shower and bathroom were a bonus although we chose to sleep upstairs. My wife found the kitchen to be well equipped as she prefers to cook our meals. Could have eaten fish all week with all the fish I caught. Nice large TV for us to watch YouTube in the evenings before bed. John was very accommodating. You couldn’t ask for a nicer host! Thanks John, we’ll be back!!

plenty plenty plenty of space. A nice rustic feel, Really beautiful view nice and quiet great fishing coming from wilmington this was a welcome change of scenary with no hussle and bussle the kitchen is nice and large and well equipt we loved the driveway super easy in and out for multiple cars John was very responsive we would stay again for sure

The home was a beautiful place to unwind for the week with family. Large enough to suit our two families and had all the essentials you would need. Location was awesome, we had actually stayed in same cove back in 2014 in a neighboring rental. Close to any activity you want to venture to. We used Foodlion twice during our stay with delivery service. There was a cpl of issues that arose but the owner was reachable and was quick to address. Very nice week. VICKERS- WV

This was the perfect vacation. The property is just as advertised. The sun deck and dock are great for a day in the sun. The cove is quiet and peaceful. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a great week on the lake. We will absolutely stay here again.

Lakefront home

Our stay was wonderful at this beautiful lakefront home. We drove from NewJersey with a boat and were not disappointed at all. The house had everything we needed ,kitchen was completely stocked.(No need to bring anything.)The views were amazing, and the dock for the boat and fishing were perfect in every way. John was very personable and always got back to us quickly. We would definitely recommend this wonderful lakefront home, very peaceful.

Charming lakefront house

The actual house was everything we thought it would be, charming and spacious. The lakefront view was amazing, could not have asked for more. However, we have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and this one was certainly lacking. No welcome binder with little tidbits about the surrounding areas or restaurants or places to go. Lots of basic amenities that we would expect out of vacation home were not available to us including a blow dryer or an iron or even extra towels for that matter. Would have Loved a throw blanket or such to be able to sit outside on the beautiful deck on the brisk mornings. Had there been some extra little comforts or anything at all welcoming us into this house for the weekend, we probably could’ve forgiven the massive spiderwebs that were everywhere. I wonder when it was cleaned or prepared before we came… Certainly a large beautiful lakefront house, but not very welcoming to an out-of-town weekend guest. Pretty unfortunate.

Childhood Men’s Trip

Comfortable and cozy home, beautiful view!

This home was perfect for a fall work/planning retreat with two living areas and a lovely kitchen. The view of the lake from the house was beautiful and even though we had rain almost the entire stay we still enjoyed the space.

Wonderful home very communicative hodt

Wonderful property on a nice warm lake beautiful rooms and plenty of space for everyone. We would like to have had a few more amenities for the water as we had zero not even a pool noodle so you have to bring everything yourself also bring your own shampoo etc. none provided. We would return with family anytime.

Good fishing

We caught a lot of fish,it was peaceful and relaxing and enjoy being with family and they enjoyed it ..me and my sister said it was our house for a week..lol wouldn't mind going back one day

Too many spiders & spider webs

Everything inside was nice & clean but outside needed pressure washing and exterminating. Had to clean up chairs and and doorways outside. Killed a bug or spider everyday. Needed better better and extra towels and basic cleaning supplies.
