Value is not good. Home was not clean, in poor condition and not well equipped. Towels appeared dirty, or in just very poor condition. Bathrooms were not clean, especially shower floor. Kitchen was poorly equipped - no kettle, too few coffee mugs, hodge podge of cookware. Wood floors are in poor condition and dirty. Coffee maker leaks while brewing. Too much clutter and too many piles of books everywhere.

Good stay

The house was clean and comfortable. It’s a small place but that’s ok when you’re spending most of the day of the lake. The bathrooms aren’t great but good enough. Only one tv and it’s not a smart tv so we couldn’t enjoy our favorite shows at the end of the day. Otherwise we liked our stay.

Okay Stay

The property was fine but the HVAC didn’t work and the refrigerator kept resetting and wasn’t cooling. The HVAC not working was kind of a big deal since it made it difficult to sleepThe listing also makes it seem like the house stands alone and is secluded from neighbors but there are houses right next to the property on both sides. It wasn’t a big deal since we didn’t feel the need to be secluded but just didn’t expect to be that close to neighbors.

Great Place to Unwind

Very nice neighborhood. Property very comfortable. Showers need a little work, but are still doable.If you like quiet, then this is the place for you.

Family weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was great - clean and comfortable. The view from the deck was incredible. We would definitely stay there again. Only suggestion is to get a ladder for the dock.

House number is hard to make out since the 2 is so faded. Had trouble getting the code to get into the house. I submitted the necessary info but, had to call the morning we left to get the code. The place definitely needs updated. Living area and deck are a nice size but, bedrooms and bathroom small. Bath off bedroom super small shower with water temperature hard to adjust. We were given 1 washcloth for 4 people. The basement is only accessible from outside and was very musty. We opened the door and closed it. The life jackets were filthy and when the kayaks were used, one had a hole. We managed to have a nice trip but, will not stay here again.

Cute cottage on a great lot

My family and I had a great stay! The house and everything in it was as expected. My only complaints are 1) the large patio was ridden with cobwebs, tree debris, and the patio furniture was not cleaned for use. We cleaned it ourselves with a broom and found a hose to spray everything down with. 2) We highly suggest adding a ladder for the dock. Getting out of the water was not easy! Also FYI the basement has a separate outdoor entrance and is not accessible from inside the house. I didn’t realize that ahead of time. Aside from these small setbacks the house was perfect for what we were looking for and we would stay again!

Lake Norman Cottage Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting to relax and visit. Short drive to some great restaurants & activities. The property was as described & very clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome Accommodations

We have stayed at this property several times and we love it! This is a clean and neat house and we always enjoy our time here. The dock and access to the water are great. The kids had a blast playing and fishing.

Nice cottage feel. Loved the location. Few concerns: — Bathrooms very small and outdated. Latch broken on en-suite bathroom. Other bathroom water pressure bad and shower head very high, not great for shorter people. — No bathroom amenities, towels smelled sour and needed to rewash, —Wood floors in kitchen-living room area were dirty. — Also no trash bags to be found other than the one in the receptacle. For the cost of the cottage, expectations were higher and it was a disappointment.

Nice get a way!

Stayed with my husband and our friends. Cute house! Had no problem with internet as others have complained. We relaxed, kayaked, floated on rafts & played pool. The deck is amazing! Only thing wrong was the lighting was out on the outside that aimed at the basement ( where the pool table is). My friend busted her shin open on the pad of concrete… but she’s a nurse so it was all good.

Lake Norman stay

The house had a musty smell - needs to be opened up prior to stay. The shower door handle was broke. The water in shower was very hot or cold - there was no in between. The bathtub was a slow drain while taking shower. The shower plastic liner & tub mat need replaced. When taking cover off grill - the door fell off. I could not find the light downstairs to use pool table or watch tv. They just need to do some routine maintenance. The house was in a good location & we were able to use boat dock which is a plus. I hope to come back some day as I like this area away from the Charlotte traffic.

Nice Home

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is very small but it worked for us 4 adults. A few things… there are only 4 bath towels and 2 hand towels supplied. Bring your own dishrags and washcloths. There is a Keurig and a coffee pot at the property. The location of the house was nice. We came specifically to boat. Restaurants on the water are less than 15 minutes away. The dock did accommodate our 30’ boat just fine. The back deck was an awesome hangout in the mornings for coffee and in the evenings when we came home.

Peaceful getaway

Our stay at the lake house was peaceful and enjoyable. The house is on a quieter part of the lake with easy access to everything you need. The property manager was friendly and prompt taking care of a few minor issues. We would recommend this property.

Nice weekend get away!

The cottage was cozy and clean! Ended up not having a dishwasher 😞. Was really excited about the dock and enjoyed sitting by the water. Just wish there was a ladder in the dock to get out of the water. The deck was amazing! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
