We were very impressed with the house and location . Perfect place for family celebration of 65 birthday and Father’s Day. Close to Charlotte but felt like you were out in the country. It was in a very quiet section of the lake. But also very close to stores . House was was well organized . Great sleeping layout for a family with multiple ages that could spread out across 3 floors. It was nice having a boat at the house with a great dock which served as the kids first time fishing! We will be back !

Perfect Family Gathering

Our family had a great time together! The house was very clean and well stocked. We had plenty of space with many different sitting areas. The house was just as described and Amy was responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Getaway – Just What We Needed!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were incredible, especially from the back deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee.The host was very responsive and thoughtful, providing great local recommendations and clear check-in instructions. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the lake was a perfect bonus.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Mom's weekend getaway

6 mom's got out of their everyday routine and had a relaxing weekend together! Super cute house and very comfortable and clean! Amy was so kind and responsive to our messages. Enjoyed it very much!

Family Christmas Getaway.

Our family enjoyed the lake house, but we had a few issues such as no heat in the downstairs area where the 5th bedroom, 3rd bathroom and game area is located. So we were unable fully utilize or enjoy that area like we wanted to or sleep there which meant we had to regroup. One of the fire pits didn’t work as well. Other than that we made the best of it and enjoyed the house. The owners were easy to communicate the issues with and they did try to help as much as they could to fix the issues.

Fun family weekend

Our family enjoyed our stay at “A Lakefront Hideaway.” The house was very clean and we loved the decor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was a short two day visit but we can’t wait for our next trip.

Nice getaway

Host was very quick to respond to all of our questions and a huge help. One thing worth noting, not really option to swim at the dock due to how shallow it is. Taking the boat out on the lake though was a great alternative to be able to swim. House was very clean and in an extremely quiet area. Would definitely recommend!

The pictures do not do justice. The porches, the size, the tranquility. There are not enough words to describe this lovely place. I will admit after multiple other stays in the Lake Norman area, i was fearful i may have chosen poorly. However, after opening the door I knew this was the one. We all enjoyed the place, it felt like home. Boating, playing games, bonfire and s'mores. Simply splendid. The owners were attentive responded quickly with great accommodation. We will surely be back. And you should enjoy it too! Go ahead click the rental button. However, me

Awesome family vacation!

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. The house was perfect for two families including 3 kids ages 4-14. We had an amazing time taking the boat out on the lake. The hosts were awesome to work with prior and during and stay. 10/10 recommend staying here!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Perfect Friends Getaway!

Beautiful property with easy lake access! We rented the boat and it was so easy and convenient! We had friends in from out of town and chose to take them to this part of the lake :) Great communication with hosts -- we will be back!
