Would stay again

Listing did a good job of accurately representing the property. We stayed with our elderly parents and were pleased to find a property with a bedroom/bathroom on the first floor. Owner was proactive in communication, responsive and flexible with us.

Wedding stay

The host was very responsive and helpful... from the time of booking until the time we checked out! The place was well stocked. There were 5 adults and a dog staying at the house and there was plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed relaxing in the screen room. I would stay here again when visiting Charlotte!

Quirky and good!

Good place that accommodated our group including a dog.Tom was great about being flexible with timing and was great with communication!The house is a quirky layout—as advertised— and we felt it was on a pretty busy road with some decent road noise at night. A little white noise drowned it out though!

We came in town for the Panthers and Cowboys game for our guys trip, and the place was perfect. Centrally located to everywhere we needed or wanted to go. Great food spots around us. Peaceful get away

Perfect!!!

Everything was perfect!! It’s exactly as it is listed!!! The waffle bar is amazing!!! I will definitely recommend to everyone visiting Charlotte!! Everything comes with instructions so you can’t mess anything up!!! I will definitely book again!!!

Great House and Location!

Our group of 5 girls (4 adults and a 17-year-old) stayed for the weekend and attended a concert. This quirky little house was great in location and character. Tom was super nice and very communicative. He made sure we had everything we might need and more. Beds were very comfortable, and the light-blocking curtains were greatly appreciated. The bathrooms were small but not an issue. Would recommend if you're looking for a unique place to stay.

Great stay

The Sun porch was a hit with our group and the kids enjoyed the cornhole and tossing the football in the backyard. The location was ideal for getting to the convention center. The owner was in touch and responsive to any messages.

Great Place for Family Gathering

This was a great place for us to stay and have family around the area gather. The 4 bedrooms and outdoor, fenced area and the enclosed porch were fabulous. There were so many items stocked (popcorn, crockpot, etc etc) that made life very convenient since we all traveled into Charlotte. The rental was very convenient for walking to local pubs as well as dog walks. Great time!

Girl’s shopping weekend

We were in Charlotte for the Southern Christmas Show and a girl’s shopping weekend. This home was absolutely perfect! 4 bedrooms for 4 girls!! The location couldn’t have been better. We could’ve walked to the Park and Expo Convention Center. The house was clean, Tom was amazing with communication, and we felt very safe. We will definitely be booking this house again next year!

Bachelorette Trip

The house is located very close to everything and in a good part of town. The house had a ton of space and was very clean. The alarm system and door lock system made us feel even more safe! Definitely recommend this place!

Quirky, charming. Cute, homey, and cozy.

We stayed here for the proximity to Ovens/Bojangles, so if you are here to see a concert or other event, just know that this was a nice prime location. Instead of worrying about parking and traffic, we just walked to get there and it’s only about a 15 minute nearly straight shot, on foot. You are nearby everything else you might need, too, in short driving distance. The home is very accommodating and Tom was friendly, clear, and communicative. Everything about this was easy. There was a clear instruction packet and info printed everywhere. The furniture is very comfy. Well stocked with dishes, supplementary food items (you need to provide your own main meal stuff), linens and towels, and even toiletries. Very generously equipped. Everyone was comfortable here and had a great time, and we would stay again if we were back in town. Some things I would suggest to make the stay even better?: 1) Pest control. Ants in places where no food was like the back bathroom, plus we found a roach egg. 2) Replace Yahtzee scorecard paper. 3) Adirondack chair out back broken, needs replacing. 4) Restore back bedroom as nursery for infants and toddlers, bc no one else wants a bedroom within a bedroom and it will be an advantage to you. 5) Put TVs in the 2 bedrooms without. That might seem like a long list, but like I said, I still loved my stay and would stay again. I just know that rental owners are always planning future improvements and these items would make them soar. Thanks Tom! :)

Lovely property

The property was well maintained, very large, fantastic sunroom and very well set up for 3 adult couples and a single 21 year old. We were in town for a family wedding and the location provided excellent access to all of our needs!

Home away from Home

The communication was excellent from the beginning to end of booking. Every need was accommodated well and I really loved the area as it wasn't far from the activities we did. I also enjoyed being able to experience making waffles and popcorn on the stove with my children. They loved that and the toys that were provided. Also appreciate the cleaning fee and being told not to touch nothing cause I'm always cleaning up but I did tidy a bit 😩 I truly appreciate the warm welcome with the board and even through message

An excellent property and host

I grew up in the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood and needed a place to stay while visiting lots of family spread out over the greater Charlotte area for the Christmas holiday. Commonwealth Park was the perfect place for our visit. The location is convenient to every part of the city, the house had every creature comfort for us and our dogs, and the checkout requirements were simple and accommodating. Book here and you’ll agree.

Amazing Thanksgiving

We were welcomed with a note. The owner checked to see if we needed anything. The location is centrally located and all the amenities you would want. Nice fenced in back yard. It was amazing. I would stay there again.

Perfect for weekend
