    **A $500 FINE WILL BE CHARGED FOR SMOKING OF ANY KIND INSIDE THE HOUSE.
    - BOAT AND JET SKI AT THE BOAT DOCK BELONG TO THE HOMEOWNERS AND ARE OFF-LIMITS
    -**Please don`t flush anything but toilet paper!! The system is sensitve and may back up if anything but TP is flushed.**
    -**Please do not dispose of grease directly down the kitchen sink drain! That too will damage the system. Please dispose of grease in the garbage can only.**

    SAFETY DEVICES:
    Exterior security cameras present: We have one doorbell camera at the front door, one at the driveway, one at the back door, and one at the boat dock. These will be on during your stay and are for your safety and ours.
    Noise decibel monitor present: There is a noise monitoring device indoors which actively records noise decibel levels. It does not record audio or video.

    ***EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS***
    We allow early check-in and late check-out at our unit upon request.
    This will depend on the property and the cleaner`s availability.
    We implement an early check-in fee and a late check-out fee.

    ***Check-Out Time & Late Departure Policy***
    Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the Host. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur an additional fee of $50 per hour and charged at the top of each hour thereafter (e.g., checking out at 12:10 PM will result in a $100 fee). This fee covers delays with cleaning staff and turnover schedules. Guests are urged to check out on time to avoid any additional fees. **If Guests would like to see if our cleaners are able to accommodate a late check-out, the LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS must be made 24 HOURS in advance.**

    We provide starter supplies, enough for 3-4 day stays. It will be up to the guest to replenish those supplies for extended stays.

    **Please note that as part of the reservation booking process, we ask guests to visit a link to e-sign a rental agreement. In NC, written rental agreements are required to be compliant with the NC Vacation Rental Act. We include them as best practice for our listings in SC. There is also a link to a quick Point of Contact form which is required for Vrbo reservations.

    Trust & Safety:
    *As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we insure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection has been included in a Trust and Safety Fee or your rental rate.

    The Safely Protection Policy covers the cost of repairing damage to the property up to $3,000 for content and $3,000 for dwelling. The fee for this protection is refundable if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible, minimum claim amount, or cost of repair in excess of the coverage limits will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Everlong Residential will process the payment using the form of payment on file for the Guest. Additional information about the Safely Protection Policy will be provided upon request.*

    *TRAVEL INSURANCE*: Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your reservation against unexpected events such as weather, illness, or travel interruptions. Cancellations are subject to the policy selected at booking.

Lived this little cottage on the water! The only thing id recommend is more pans, pots for cooking. When you have a dock to sit on and relax, pretend not to want to go out to eat. We had an amazing time doing nothing!

Wonderful location, great host

Great communication, beautiful property on the lake. House was comfortable and well stocked, and host was attentive. Would go back!

Great Location

My husband and I stayed at this location for 4 nights. It was a very last minute booking because our plans changed due to Hurricane Helene. It was a nice find and available at the last minute for a great price. The home is equipped with everything you need and you can’t beat the location and is very clean. The only negative is that it has a musty smell… Unfortunately, it’s obvious as soon as you walk in. If I had known this in advance, I’m not sure we would have booked it. With that said, I am giving the overall stay 4 stars. Fortunately, we had a lot of outdoor activities planned and pretty much only slept inside the house, so we tried to not let the mustiness bother us too much. I’m only mentioning it because I wish someone else had….
