Let me start off by saying my review is based on a very extended stay. The house is exactly as advertised, could use a good carpet cleaning and some touch ups but nothing that would prevent me from getting again short term. After about 3 weeks you notice several things of concern including the neighborhood is a bit suspect, the noise from traffic, trains, and the airport are very noticeable. Then you start to notice the more frustrating items, such as the bed-frames are all springs which you hear at night through the pillows while trying to sleep. You'll notice a feeling of a lack of privacy with the back yard camera overlooking the entire yard. There are few other quirky things as well but nothing that would cause me to not book. I found the most frustrating items to be that I had to pay for a vacuuming about 2 months in to a 4 month stay as the host did not offer to clean the house even after requesting it. I am not sure if this is a VRBO thing or host, but if the house was rented out 4 times in a month it would be cleaned 4 times. With a 4 month stay booked and no cleaning offered, I found this very frustrating. The host saves tons of cleaning fees and the guests are on the hook for it, i had to get my own vacuum just to maintain the space which was out of pocket and pay for the one vacuuming that I requested, yet the host had no problem inconveniencing me with mandated pest control appointments. Once a month cleaning should he mandated by VRBO at the host expense.
