Everything was great except for the mattress's on the beds were extremely firm. Did not have a complete night of sleep the entire trip. This is our 3rd year staying at the tree house, and first issue like this. We love staying at the tree house it is always nice and clean.

The Tree House

Wonderful property! Very roomy, with an awesome kitchen and a great master bath. Convenient to the beach access. The yard is beautiful with tons of trees, which makes it feel very lush and private. The fenced yard is huge, more like your own private dog park. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The Tree House

This house has obviously had a recent re-do. Everything has been updated and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable. My rating has to do with the fact that I rented mainly because it said it had a fenced yard. There is indeed a fenced area but it not adjacent to the house. One must leave the house to walk their pet over to the yard. We have small dogs with small bladders. They require frequent bathroom breaks. At 11 p.m. or 6 a.m., that is a bit of a burden. While we appreciated a pet friendly rental with a fenced yard, this was not explained in the description. I would have opted for a different property had we been appraised of this small inconvenience. When we drove up, I was so disappointed. Also, the configuration of the downstairs with all three bedrooms right together and sharing one bath is not ideal. For parents with small children, it is fine, but for two unrelated couples, that situation is a problem. Again, it would be so helpful if these conditions were disclosed in the information. Otherwise, the proximity to the beach and to town is great. The owners have done a really good job of improving the property.

Great location, well-maintained home. Fenced backyard excellent for pet(s).

Very nicely remodeled property. We have visited Folly annually for over 10 years now and this is one of the best rentals. We have 5 adults. Bedrooms are downstairs and share one large bathroom. Not sure of the max occupancy, but 6 people is the comfortable maximum. House is across street from ocean and beach access.Highly recommend.

I would definitely stay here again. I only have a couple complaintI. I hard time finding my check-in Email instructions so I reached out to both theHost and property management group. Never heard back from either one. The other issue is the cleaning service showed up and hung out in the driveway for over 30 minutes. Made the checkout process seem rushed.I love. The house our stay! Just a few improvements and it would be an A

Tree House

The tree house was a great place to stay for our annual fall trip to Folly. Location was great, less than a minute from the beach. Nice fenced in yard for our dog. Description was exactly as it says. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anybody.

Great beach vacation with the family

The house is very nice and comfortable for 2 families. The fenced yard is a plus for the pups. Private property signs might be needed for the fenced yard. It was quite a surprise to find a woman and her dog in the yard one morning.dog

Folly vacation

We rode out the storm, Debby Downer, in the house. Dwelt perfectly safe, enjoyed watching the storm, playin board games and puzzles. Great place to hunker down. We enjoyed the beach too after the storm

Great Location

The location was great. 6th and arctic is a perfect place to experience Folly the beach and surfing. The house wasn’t as nice as I would have expected. There was definitely a moisture smell on the bottom floor in the bedrooms that took some getting used to. The floor boards were popped up and several pieces split and caused big splinters to catch. The dishwasher was also broken and went unfixed during our stay. The backyard was pretty much a swamp so we couldn’t even really use it all for the dog which was a selling point on the house. We stay in a lot of vacation rental houses and I would not rebook this on our next stay in Folly.

Fabulous Vacation

House is lovely and location was great! Easy beach access across the street. Convenient to local restaurants and grocery stores. House was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. We had a fabulous vacation and look forward to renting this home again in the future!

Tree House week

Perfect spot, suited our family perfectly. Clean, right near the beach, far enough away from town center. Only complaint was that the oven did not work. Got very creative with the grill, microwave and frying pans. They sent out a repair person quickly, but had to wait a week for a part. Great yard for the dogs! Can’t wait to go back!!
