My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Waterway. The breakfast was delicious, the views were beautiful, and the pool was a perfect place to relax. Rob and Zack were fabulous hosts. We truly enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them during our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Waterway to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Amazing

Amazing place to stay. The host were super friendly and the property was amazing as well. Love the view from the room and the pool. We will definitely be coming back.

This place was an absolute dream! We came to stay for a few days after our wedding to relax and reset. You couldn’t help but feel at peace in this beautiful oasis. The balcony’s to read your books on, the amazing pool to sit by, and the stunning sunset to watch on the dock with a glass of wine in hand. Everything was wonderful. Zack and Rob were incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The location is perfect for still going in town for dinner or shopping but only being a short drive back. We will definitely be coming back to stay again. Thank you Zack and Rob!

A Hidden Gem

This home was beautiful. Our hosts were warm and friendly, and the breakfasts were amazing! We would stay here again and again. Charleston was so much fun as well! What a hidden gem of a vacation! :)

What a great B&B. Beautiful inside and outside. The views can’t be beat. Zach and Rob are great hosts and do everything to make you feel at home! The breakfasts were fantastic. And the Orchids! Great job Zach

Great place to relax and unwind! The hosts were amazing and always accommodating. Food was great room was great but the view was truly a million dollar view. Will definitely go again!!

I had an amazing experience the host and everybody that works. There was absolutely amazing. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this property. It is breathtaking. If I have a go back to this area I will definitely stay there again.

The one thing that stands out is the peacefulness. Old oak tress with the hanging Spanish Moss with the river behind them and watching the sunset.

Quiet local getaway on the water . . .

What a wonderful bed and breakfast with very friendly and gracious hosts!! A nice and comfortable room that leads out to a balcony with incredible views of Stono River. There's also a lovely covered seating area outside that overlooks a peaceful back yard with majestic grand oaks. And an awesome deck to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets on the river. Location is great too - you can be downtown or to one of the beaches with just a short drive. We were looking for a quiet get-a-way to enjoy the water and The Waterway definitely delivered! We would recommend to anyone and would love to visit again!!

Exceeded my expectations

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was incredibly attentive, kind, and courteous, ensuring every detail was perfect. The house itself was peaceful, quiet, and impeccably clean—exactly as described, with a well-organized and inviting atmosphere. The meticulously cared-for grounds provided stunning views and a serene environment, perfect for relaxation, enjoying breathtaking sunsets, and even spotting dolphins. The location was also ideal—close to town with plenty of convenient DoorDash options. Breakfast was a true highlight—healthy, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. And the coffee? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. I can’t wait to return!

This place is truly a gem both in terms of accommodations as well as hosts. Zack and Rob were so welcoming and just plain friendly we could have talked for hours. The home is one that my wife and I will be frequenting often. She is from Charleston and to find this beautiful quiet home that is so convenient to downtown is a treasure. The scenery is breathtaking from your bedroom to the pool to the boat dock. Sunsets are amazing. The appointments are great and certainly first class but made us feel at home. Now the breakfast. Delicious in every aspect of the word. Omelettes, waffles, fruit, fresh baked bread, coffee. Yes truly top notch. It rained while we were there and we were absolutely fine enjoying the property in doors. So the pool and dock next time. Zack/Rob, thank you for such an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. The host was very welcoming, attentive, and considerate. Everything was well maintained, easy to find and navigate, and clean. The breakfast was phenomenal and we had adequate privacy. It is located within great distance to all Charleston had to offer.

Zach was an amazing host. His omelettes are to die for. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms and common areas were pristine clean. The outdoor seating areas were homey, comfortable and welcoming. The seating area on the dock is ideal for sipping wine and watching the sunset. I am looking forward to returning often.
