This place is truly a gem both in terms of accommodations as well as hosts. Zack and Rob were so welcoming and just plain friendly we could have talked for hours. The home is one that my wife and I will be frequenting often. She is from Charleston and to find this beautiful quiet home that is so convenient to downtown is a treasure. The scenery is breathtaking from your bedroom to the pool to the boat dock. Sunsets are amazing. The appointments are great and certainly first class but made us feel at home. Now the breakfast. Delicious in every aspect of the word. Omelettes, waffles, fruit, fresh baked bread, coffee. Yes truly top notch. It rained while we were there and we were absolutely fine enjoying the property in doors. So the pool and dock next time. Zack/Rob, thank you for such an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. Exceeded my expectations

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was incredibly attentive, kind, and courteous, ensuring every detail was perfect. The house itself was peaceful, quiet, and impeccably clean—exactly as described, with a well-organized and inviting atmosphere. The meticulously cared-for grounds provided stunning views and a serene environment, perfect for relaxation, enjoying breathtaking sunsets, and even spotting dolphins. The location was also ideal—close to town with plenty of convenient DoorDash options. Breakfast was a true highlight—healthy, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. And the coffee? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. I can’t wait to return!

A Hidden Gem

This home was beautiful. Our hosts were warm and friendly, and the breakfasts were amazing! We would stay here again and again. Charleston was so much fun as well! What a hidden gem of a vacation! :)

The one thing that stands out is the peacefulness. Old oak tress with the hanging Spanish Moss with the river behind them and watching the sunset.

Our stay at Waterway was excellent! The location is super convenient and the grounds and view from the property are fantastic. We felt welcomed from tge moment we arrived until leaving, and did not want to leave. An assortment was available daily for breakfast includ8ng made to order qaffles, eggs, smoken salmon, smoothies, cappuccinos, and i could go on. We were greeted each evening with a glass of wine when returning from a day out. The hosts are fantastic and it was a great experience.

Rob and Zack are lovely, welcoming, warm and knowledgeable. Rooms and all over decor have the sophisticated laid back elegance of the world travelers they are. Has Zack trained at the Ritz? I asked myself the question as he is gracious, attentive seems to know what I may need before I do. I loved my 3 days with them. Am coming back with my sister this automne. We are both interested in history and architecture. On this side of the pond this is just about as good as it gets. Thank you Zack et Rob for a beautiful stay.

Charleston we finally made it

Rob and zack treat you like family from the second your enter there gourg home. The views where breathtaking, the breakfast was filling and delicious. The conversation is even better than the food, if that is even possible..... If you ever get a chance to stay here don’t hesitate. You will not regret it. Thanks again gentlemen. During the time of the pandemic this B&B was the perfect non-hotel location on the river with gorgeous Five oaks. The hosts Rob and Zach so interesting to talk with having lived all over the world made for break great breakfast conversation. Very easy access to downtown historic Charleston. Zach Fixed wonderful breakfast including sausage from all over the world and fruit smoothies every morning. We visited Middleton place to focus on outdoor activities and can't wait to come back to see if the camellias in bloom over the winter.
