This is magnificent home on the best street in Kiawah! The rooms are huge, giving everyone the chance to find a quiet spot while enabling all the family activity you can imagine. We had 8 adults and three little ones with plenty of room to spare. I could envision coming back with five couples, as there are five full bedroom/bath suites. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool was perfect for the adults and kids alike. All that and having the beach essentially in the backyard made for a wonderful vacation for all three generations of our family!

Family Celebration at Kiawah

Where to start, this place checked every box for our family celebration. The house was perfect with our adult children and their children ages 3 to 17. Literally 4 master suits and plenty of room for the Littles. Golf, pool, beach and family time together in this beautiful space. Our host was very accommodating and quick to reply to our needs.

Great beach house!

The house is in a perfect location with a short boardwalk to the beach and large pool. The view from the house is amazing. The house is large with lots of bedrooms and areas for everyone to hang out. It is great for multiple families. Lastly, the property owner was very responsive, accommodating, and super nice to work with. We would go back!!

Family Birthday Celebration

This home was a perfect getaway for our 3 generation family to celebrate my husbands 65th birthday. The home is stunning, highlighted by its living room with huge floor to ceiling windows that showcase the gorgeous beach and ocean views...breathtaking! The large king bedrooms, the kids bunk room and the baby room were all inviting and cozy esp after a full day of activities, of which Kiawah has more than we could possibly get to. A wonderful home and a wonderful spot!!!

Paradise on the Ocean in Kiawah

We just finished an amazing week in this amazing home. House is gorgeous, view of the ocean is spectacular and the host was great. If you want to be right on the beach with so many great activities for the whole family - you can’t miss this stay!

Birthday at Kiawak

We spent a long weekend celebrating my birthday with family. The home easily accommodated our group of 13 . The home is beyond spectacular with breathtaking views of the ocean which you can also see from the upstairs shower. The common space was huge with something like 40 foot ceiling. It was easy to cook for our group and everyone was thrilled with the house. Our property manager attended to all our needs and we had no problems with anything. It was wonderful and we hope to go back!

Ritz Carleton price with Holiday Inn amenities

Beautiful ocean front home and property on the most spectacular beach BUT was surprised to find that a VRBO of this caliber (4k per night)would come with a total of 10 garbage bags, large amount of missing lightbulbs throughout hime, a rationing of 3 towels per guest room, fireplaces unable to be used, disconnected elevator for 4 floors, and holiday inn sized soap.

We have been coming to Kiawah for 20+ years. What a treat to be able to stay in this home. It sits right on the beach with it's own boardwalk, most house of this quality and size are not available to rent. You can tell this is a family home that has been well loved. and boy is this beauty is well built!!! We road out a tropical storm and the house barely budged!! This is the most prestigious street on Kiawah and the property owners are easy to work with. We will definitely be renting this house again!!

Oceanfront Gem with Awesome Views & Large Pool

Our extended family - 3 generations including 5 teenagers - enjoyed a blissful stay at this expansive oceanfront property. Highlights of the house include panoramic ocean views from the nearly two-story windows in the living room and from the dining area, cute boy and girl group bedrooms that can each sleep 3-4, and multiple adult suites that could pass for a master. The adults enjoyed sipping happy hour drinks while taking in the awesome ocean view, while the girls enjoyed doing music performances from an interior living room balcony. We made extensive use of the large pool and the private boardwalk affords very quick and access to the beach. Our teens loved surfing, throwing a football on the beach, and sunbathing. We enjoyed a great bike trip and played several rounds of golf on the resort courses (including the Ocean Course). The owner/host was very helpful and responded promptly and helpfully to texts. While the house is not new, it is well-appointed and everything is in good working order. Our only regret is that wish we could have stayed longer than the 11 days we booked!

Family friendly luxury and convenience

We are a family of 13, grandparents with 2 adult children and their families. 7 children 3-10! The home is enormous, and perfect for the kids! Darling nautical bunk room, and fun room with 3 twins and a crib. Right across the hall from beautiful master suites for their parents! Grandma and grandpa got the first floor master! The pool is fabulous, and right down the private boardwalk is the ocean! Top shelf vacation for us all! And this was our first time in Kiawah! Hope to return and do it all over again❤️❤️❤️

Beach Vacation

Great family beach house. Only downsides were a hiccup with the pool (needed some attention and could not be used for a day and half), the property was frugally stocked (no coffee, very small shower soaps and no body wash, etc.) and very expensive.

Srping break trip 2024

Our third year staying oceanfront on Kiawah Island for spring break and this home was lovely. Great location and boardwalk to sunrises, walks and biking on the beach. Home is very pretty and very well-appointed with different style bedrooms for all family members (kids and adults). Pool is large. Ping pong and pool table were a hit as well.

And all had a good time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property on beautiful Kiawah Island. We had our entire family together (4 adults couples) and our three grandchildren (with another on the way). The home is spacious and had all the amenities making the stay simple. The best features are the views of the Atlantic and the walkway to the beach. We biked, walked and ran on the beach, and our grandkids had fun playing in the sand. The manager was very accessible and responsive. We are not golfers, but realized that Kiawah Island is a golfers paradise. Overall great experience. Pricey but recommended if you can afford.

Perfect multi-generational family vacation home for 15

This stunning home truly exceeded our expectations for a recent family vacation with my parents and my siblings’ families to celebrate our dad’s birthday. We were 4 adult couples, 3 teenagers, and 4 kids under 10. Everyone had excellent room accommodations- no one had to take a “less than” room. The house is even better than it looks in the pics. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Gorgeous views and easy beach access. Bonus: we could watch our family members on the beach from the cozy living room. Thanks to our host’s recommendations we had a wonderful meal prepared at the home by a chef service one night (excellent experience) and a family portrait photo shoot to memorialize our trip. (@charlotteelizabethphoto.com) This is a wonderful beach for kids. They even swam in the chilly Dec temps! One note: there are many stairs in this 4-story home that cannot be avoided. This was not a problem for us but important to know for those with limited mobility. Our whole family was very impressed by the beautiful home and we hope to return. Thanks to our very responsive host!

Kiawah - 3 generations, 35 years vacationing!

I can’t say enough about our stay at 140 Flyway. What an exceptional home. From the time we arrived the house felt like home and it was decorated so beautifully. We received detailed instructions to gain entrance and the necessary guidance for the home itself for our stay. The house was exceptionally clean, bathrooms fully equipped with clean towels, soap, etc. The kitchen, too, was equipped with dish ware, pots, pans, everything you would possibly need. The spacious living areas accommodated our party of 12 so comfortably. Lower level pool table /ping pong was a big hit with everyone. The virtual tour of the home was exact and truly exceeded our expectations. From grilling poolside to a short boardwalk stroll to the beach where we enjoyed fabulous sunsets, we couldn’t have found a better home for our family. A huge thank you to management for going above and beyond in helping us with some additional needs. Look for us next year! Thanks

Very nice property unique with interior decorating of a very high quality as well as the grounds. If you are handicapped you might want to think twice lots of steps views were great all the time massive windows with ocean view, finishing are very high quality, excellent location and not a busy beach at all.
