Overall great house. Bed linens left a little to be desired…no mattress pads on some beds. The TVs did not work for live tv….only streaming services and fireplace did not work which was disappointing….but overall a great house, and we enjoyed our stay.

Girls Tennis getaway

Spacious family friendly home

Great beautiful home with lots of space for families. Majority of rooms have walk-in closets big enough for pack n plays to have black out for toddlers. Pool does not have any barriers however easy to move furniture against doors and lock doors to ensure toddlers can’t exit. Close enough to the beach to walk and/or stroller however would recommend renting a bike with a trolley cart to pull bigger items which you can use the rental credit given via the rental. Layout of home was great with a nice big kitchen and island. Will need to buy ice as ice machine is slow to fill. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely rebook. Management company was extremely responsive.

Very poor maintenance

At check in maintenance person was on site trying to fix trash cabinet. He could not fix and said he would return Monday (2 days letter). Next day, dishwasher returns error and will not work. Next day Ice maker did not work in fridge. Dishwasher tray reported in earlier complaints from April was broken. Maintenance did not return until Wednesday and fixed 1/2 of issues. In addition issues not even reported include: Lots of visible mold in 2 baths. Broken outdoor chair. Silverware and plates for 12 despite advertisements for 14 guests. Loose door handles etc. overall the house is visibly quite nice but under the surface it needs help.

Family fun at Kiawah

The house is lovely and large. Our favorite part was the back porch with a table and a small swimming pool. This area has a lovely view of the golf course and is perfect for hanging out and also for outdoor meals. The kitchen/living room area is decent sized and comfortable as well. There is an elevator which was much appreciated by the elderly great grandparents. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but there seems to be little to no sound insulation so everyone hears everything. The house is a bit of a walk (prob 1/2 a mile or so) to the beach or a drive. This worked for our group but it was a bit farther than is ideal. Overall, this is a comfortable and fun house for a large family vacation and we would consider a return visit.

Perfect Kiawah Home

From the moment I booked this property the manager was very responsive to questions and requests I had. Upon arrival our expectations were exceeded. The place was very clean, rooms very spacious, kitchen fully equipped, and location perfect! We would highly recommend this property to any large family or friends!

Called management the first night about standing water in garage that had seeped under the door. No one ever called back! Mold issues in all the bathrooms.

We love Kiawah!!

We loved the spacious house! The kids had a great time in the pool and it was hard getting them out to go to the beach. The beach is 0.5 miles away and we biked to it daily. It was a wonderful family vacation!

Kid friendly pool

Kiawah Island is a nature lovers paradise. Our grandchildren loved the wildlife that roamed the area. The beach and pool provided many fun hours for the family. The house is nice but starting to show some wear and tear. We notified management of several issues upon arrival. Only one issue was addressed immediately.The deck does not provide enough seating for large family ( several chairs were broken). Overall our family enjoyed the trip. We had plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing.

Relax at Kiawah

Beautiful spacious house, room to cook, mingle and everyone had privacy in rooms with own bathroom, modern and beautifully decorated, beautiful island, quiet gorgeous beaches, plenty of nice shaded walking and bike riding trails, lots of things to do.....golf, shop, tour Charleston, etc..... we had a blast!!!

Family Gathering

This was a great place to get together with our extended family! Great location! We really enjoyed being on the golf course. After a full day at the beach it was nice to relax on the deck, swim in the pool, enjoy a beverage, and look at the beautiful greens.

Great House for Our Family during Wedding

We had three generations on the grooms side stay at this place and it was fantastic. The kids loved the upstairs, we loved the bedrooms and the downstairs master was great for our Elderly parents. The elevator was great for our Dad as it has a lot of stairs. Really great spot and location. Would recommend

Suggestions: Some of doors are difficult to open. Shower off upstairs guest room with Kiawah pillows did not have hot enough water for shower! Please get more kitchen towels! Otherwise Perfect!

Large home

This home has one master bedroom with spacious bath and closets on the main floor. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms. The one with a king size bed has a view out the front of the house, a walk-in closet and moderat bath with one sink. The closet does not have a place to hang dresses. There are 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds at the top of the stairs, the other has a queen bed, that look it over the golf course, with their own bath. The 4th br has a double bed with a window looking out the side of the house. The bathroom has no mirror over the sink, making it difficult for an adult to get ready. My college age son used it. I do not remember if he had a closet in they room. He kept his hanging clothes in the closet downstairs. We did not end up using the room(s) on the third floor where there are two sets of twin beds. It would be a great space for kids as there is space to play as well as sleep. There is only a half bath us there, so showers or baths would be needed to be done elsewhere. The kitchen is adequate in size but we found the layout with the narrow island was awkward. We all commented that it would drive us crazy if this was our home. Having an elevator was a great feature to have for a home with 4 levels, but we really weren’t sure how it worked. We did not see detailed instructions for it. That would have been helpful for hauling luggage and groceries from the ground floor. The distance to the beach was a short walk or bicycle ride, but we had so many wedding activities to attend that we really did get to spent too much time on the beach. Overall it was a great house to use while there for a family wedding. We were able to gather with some of our other family members that were renting in smaller nearby homes. We were able to split the cost between 3 families, so the cost did not seem too prohibitive. It seems it’s a great home for a large group, as there are beds for 14 people, just determine ahead of time who gets the first floor master. I do not foresee a need for us to rent this home again as we do not usually take family trips with other families. However, I would recommend it for 3 couples with a total of 7-8 kids., or 4 families with 6 kids.
