We had a good stay, but it was hard to communicate with Shawn, the host (even VRBO couldn't get through to owner after I contacted them for help). When I did speak to the owner, there was difficulty with his follow-through of what he said. I am a 60 plus year old Diabetic (and Disabled Veteran) and my doctor had changed my medication which caused me to over-book my reservation, when I realized it I reached out to the property manager (Shawn) for help, and to this day he (Shawn) never did what he said that he would do to help concerning my error on the reservation. So there is a trust issue here with Shawn. I am not trying to put this gentleman down, I am only telling the truth. There were other communication issues that I won't address here because I addressed them with Shawn, when I was finally able to reach him. For anyone who chooses to stay at this location (Ladson SC), just know that there may be a communication challenge with this host. The place was nice, but customer service should be a priority for all property managers with VRBO, and it was obvious to us that we were NOT a concern for Shawn because of the lack of follow-through. I hope that Shawn will be better to others than he was with us. My family and I will never stay at this property again.
