Stayed here to go to the beach / downtown. Great VRBO. Easy checkin and place was clean. Would stay again.

Great getaway before school starts

We really enjoyed this house and the location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful week on the IOP

We enjoyed a wonderful week of family, sun and fun on the IOP in July 2024. The house was perfect for our family, plenty of bedrooms, walking to shops, food and the beach.

Annual IOP Stay

Our Anniversary stay was fabulous! Plenty of room for all 12 of our friends & family! Just a short walk to anything! The only issue (that probably can’t be fixed) is that the house could stand to have a larger porch. We all love to sit outside & talk & laugh & such! Otherwise, the place was close to perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean and comfortable accommodations for our family trip. Pool was also well taken care of. Outstanding location with about a 50 yard, 1 -2 minute walk to beach and places to go in town. My recommendation would be to add a 2nd refrigerator. For a house with 7 bedrooms that should be a must. Also be aware that unlike most other houses, this house only has 1 small balcony that big enough for about 3 people.

Great beach property. Amazing location.

This is an ideal location for walking, biking or taking a golf cart to the beach/shops/restaurants. Slept 3 families easily. Allowed early check in - property managers communicated promptly. Just an FYI there are no beach towels and they were strict on the 10am check out which is very early and can be challenging.

The house was very roomy and in a perfect location. Some earlier reviews said the kitchen lacked some of the essentials for preparing meals but it appears those concerns were addressed as we found the kitchen lacking for nothing! It had plenty of cookware and utensils. We would definitely book again!

Vacation at Isle of Palms

We really enjoyed our stay and the house. Lots of things we really loved. However, we were disappointed we were not given a few extra towels. Also, when we vacation we like to cook and eat in. This kitchen did not have appropriate tools to do so therefore we were forced to eat out. We would have loved better and more pots and pans as well as a crock pot or two.

Beautiful house - good for large group

Positives- Stayed here with a group of 14 girls and had no issues with this house! Everything was clean and as described. Great location and the pool was nice and close by. Members of the realty team were available if needed via phone call in preparation for our trip and throughout - this was nice whenever we had questions. downsides- Felt a bit too costly. Check in was at the office a few blocks away- this could have been completed via email instead of making us walk between properties with all our luggage (we didn’t have a car).

Great way to bring in the New Year!

We loved our stay at Isle of Palms! We were walking distance to the beach as well as food. Plus catching a ride with Uber was very simple! The property was spacious for our group which was made up of married couples and single friends. We each had our own space and never felt on top of each other. We opted to eat at the house most meals so we brought our own food. The kitchen has items to cook, but we did end up washing a lot of dishes to be ready for the next meal. So if you plan on cooking you may want to come prepared. We had no issues with our stay, and would love to visit again!

Friends reunion

The house was a good layout for 5 couples. We had two twin bdrms that weren’t needed. Parking for 4-5 vehicles. Need more kitchen utensils and knives and more pots and pans if you are cooking for a large group. April is a great time of year here but the party crowds in neighboring houses made things a little loud. In the summer it might mean late, sleepless nights.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We shared this house with a few friends with kids and it was one of the nicest beach houses we have rented in a decade. Pros: clean, new, well stocked kitchen with quality cooking utensils and variety, great location to walk to beach or bars, did not use pool, a nicely decorated, impeccably clean, none of the rundown beach house things, could use some beach toys in garage as some beach houses offer, beds were soft but all linens and pillows were quality and clean. Living room was cozy and comfy with nice furniture and clean. Cons: Not great sound barrier between the two floors so the downstairs can hear very doorstep and bed creak in the room above, but nothing a sound machine can’t fix. drier was very noisy but worked fine and maintenance said they’d take a look. Needs an extra beverage fridge -even a mini fridge next where the trash is,

Nice house but ALWAY difficult with Island Realty

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My vacation rental ALWAYS gets off to a bad start with Island Realty. They won't give you access to the property when it's ready, and the staff seems to take pleasure in delaying your entry.This year, after the house sat cleaned, maintenanced and inspected for hours, Island Realty still wouldn't give me.the access code. After waiting until 4PM, I stopped by to pick up entry package but entry code was cut out! I was told I would receive an email with the entry code, which I never received. Finally had to send someone back to the office to get the code. I've rented through Island Realty several times.Always a hassle to get into the property! In spite of being a nice house to rent, Island Realty always gets my vacation off to a bad start!
