Annual family vacation getaway

Our family has returned to the same house for a number of years now. We love the location. We have three grandchildren from the age of two years old to six years old. We feel like the home is safe and very clean. Its location is great a short walk for the girls. The host Rita is wonderful to work with. No surprises here we had a lovely time . Wonderful property! Welcoming and comfortable. Rita was friendly and helpful; great communication. Clise to beach and restaurants. Great location near the inlet for shelling!! Our dog loved the backyard and the outdoor shower was a plus. We will return!

Excellent location

It is a very comfortable home with a well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty of room to have a dinner with extended family members staying nearby, and the beach was a short walk away. Rita was the best host we have ever had, she was prompt and gracious in responding to our questions.

Well appointed Home in great location

We really enjoyed our stay here and would book again. The location is close to the beach and shopping while being located in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic and noise. 3 couples stayed here, with the oldest (80 year olds) really liking the accessible main bathroom and single level plan. We entertained other family members during our stay and had plenty of room with the back deck and the 2 main living areas. The kitchen can get a little busy, but it's laid out well and equipped with more quality cookware and utensils than we are used to at rentals. Our small dog loved the back yard as well as proximity to the beach. Communication was great. Be sure to read the instructions on operating the outdoor shower-we inadvertently did it wrong and called for help, which was promptly provided. We'll keep this home on our list for our next trip to Iop.

Easy Beach Stay

Family vacation

Our vacation was amazing! Rita is wonderful let us know if we arrived early an earlier check in was available since we were traveling with our pets. The fresh flowers added such a welcoming touch. Beyond Expectations

From the listing, this place was undersold. This place was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations. The oven heated up quickly, the stove top worked great, and the refrigerator was a full size. There are three bathrooms, and all worked well and convenient for our group of 7. The laundry was easily usable and a huge perk. One bedroom has a double bed, walk-in closet, dresser, and TV. The other bedroom has double bed and dresser. The large bedroom has two double beds, small daybed, two huge dressers, large walkin closet, tv, and a desk. This room had one of the three bathrooms, attached. The deck off the back has the grill, which was easy to use, and a nice place to gather later in the evening. The sunroom off the kitchen is a wonderful place to sit and relax. There are multiple tvs, but we did not use them as we were too busy enjoying the area. It is an easy walk to the beach, which is clean and mellow. The pier and main isle area are a quick and easy drive away. As well as Sullivan Island to the south. We would highly recommend this place.

Great Location!

This is our second time staying at this property as it’s only one street from the beach and has easy beach entry access. The house fit 6 people comfortably and had all the amenities we needed. It’s also only a 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston! Would stay here again!

Great vacation experience!

The property was very clean! The location is perfect, my family has three grandchildren a one year old, a three year old and a five year old. The walk is a block away and we didn’t have to carry anyone except the one year old. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable. The owner Rita is amazing.

Great location, accessible house

This house was perfect for our week at isle of palms. My son is a full time wheelchair user and was able to navigate the entire house with no problem - they even had a ramp for him to get into the house. The accessible bathroom was SO nice for him (and our backs!) as well. The house was clean and well taken care of and a short walk to the beach. Only suggestion would be to have some type of carport/cover to house beach wagons/chairs, etc so that they don’t get rained on or covered with tree debris. Overall, highly recommend!

Family vacation

Great use of space. Our favorite room was the Sun room. We had 6 adults, 1 toddler and 2 dogs and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other families!

Lovely house in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Our group was 7 adult family members, and we had plenty of room. The house is very clean and pretty, the beds are super comfortable, and the location is close to the beach and just a short drive to the grocery store, seafood market, and great restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We really appreciated being able to have my niece's dog with us, and the yard was spacious and safe. Rita was fantastic to work with...great communication and very responsive. It was a great week for our whole family!

It would have been helpful if we knew we had to supply garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and washing machine soap. We could have brought extras with us instead of having to go out n buy some.

Cute beach house

We stayed at this cute house for 10 days. The location is great - very close to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. The home is well-equipped with everything needed to unpack and enjoy! Rita was responsive and helpful. We were a family of 6 (3 generations) and there was space for us all.

Great Beach Vacay!

If you are looking for a wonderful beach vacation, this is the home to stay in! It has a great beach vibe. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. Great backyard with a deck and grill. Perfect for all ages and just a block from the beach.
