I am so glad we found this place! First of all, I am a clean freak and Coastal Chic was very clean, which is really important to me. In addition, it is so stocked with amenities. Several in our family have rented other homes, and they were all impressed with the amount of cooking/baking gadgets and dishes in the kitchen – even a garlic press and a fancy cheese grater!Every bedroom has its own bathroom with a double sink, and they are beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable – everyone commented on how well they slept.The living room has a good collection of games and books to keep the family entertained. But of course you will not want to stay inside when the beach is just a short walk away. There was a pool pass for the local pools, but we spent our time at the beach. The house has beach equipment, including beach towels and wagons for pulling your items to the beach, and there is an outside shower on the side of the house for rinsing off the sand.The communication was excellent also. The host got back to me with answers to my questions in a timely manner and gave us clear explanations and reminders.There is an HOA that governs the gated community in which we stayed, which means there are rules that must be followed, but we appreciated that because the entire neighborhood got very quiet by 9pm. and the neighborhood itself was clean and orderly.Our grown sons and wives told me often during our stay that I did a great job finding this place. We loved the property location to restaurants/beach/pool and not so close to all the other houses! The 3 floors worked out great with our family! It was decorated very nice! Spacious! We definitely found our new favorite spot in Wild Dunes!!!

Coastal Chic

This was the perfect place for our family of 7 to stay! The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and well-equipped with every thing we could possibly need. The Wild Dunes pools, amenities and the Isle of Palms beaches are a quick walk away. Our host, Steven, was very attentive throughout the whole process. He quickly answered questions and immediately responded when we had a Wi-Fi problem. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful place with easy access to beach and pools

The home was clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was stocked well, they had beach chairs and beach toys to use. The beach was easily accessed and well as the pools. It also had good restaurants inside the resort which was convenient. I would highly recommend!

Outstanding Experience

Frequent VRBO users and this one ranks as one of the best. Clean, easy check-in, easy departure, etc. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms set up with nice touches. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Walkable to the pools, beach, beach bar, etc. Kids (all over 18) had a blast. Photos are accurate but I would say the property is nicer than pictured.. with a ton of windows and light as the end of row unit. Just a heads up, and no fault of this property. The parking pad/carport is pretty small and narrow.. We had a full size SUV (Expedition) and a pick-up truck and getting both parked was a challenge. And parking overall at Wild Dunes is tough, if you bring more than 2 vehicles and want to park another vehicle nearby.

Beautiful House & Great Location

This house was perfect for our family vacation to Isle of Palms. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have asked for. The location is in the heart of Wild Dunes Resort and just steps from the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Family Vacation!

The house was beautiful and was in a perfect location. It is close to and had easy access to the beach while also being close to pools and resort restaurants.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did have one minor question. The property listed a 2 burner propane grill, which was there in the storage area under the house, but the book with info about the house said outdoor grilling was prohibited within the community. We just opted to cook inside the home and it was not a major issue, but it was a point of confusion. Overall, we had a great vacation and would definitely rent this home again!

I came there with 3 friends, and beside the weather not being cooperative, we had a wonderful time. Wild Dunes is a lovely resort area. Communication was amazing, quick and helpful. I would love to rent there again.
