The view was nice, but the chairs on the porch were not comfortable. You wouldn’t want to sit and enjoy the view for long. The house is spacious, but the furniture placement is odd. There is one tv in the home, but there is no sofa or chairs in the room where the tv is. The house did have two dead roaches and a dead bird on the upper deck, maybe the home was sitting empty for a while. Personally I would NOT stay here again. I go to wild dunes 2-4 times each yr and there are many other nicer places at half the cost. I was disappointed.

Top Notch!

This is the 4th time we've stayed at this property and we keep returning because we know our accommodations will be exceptional. Not to mention, the view and peace and quiet on the back of this little lane is amazing. You're close enough to everything but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and the stunning views from the back porches.This property manager is AMAZING to deal with; efficient and professional but also kind and thoughtful of the details. They truly want their renters to have a great experience and enjoy their stay.The bedrooms are comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked, lots of spaces to enjoy being together with your people. We plan to return to this property again. Highly recommend!!

Awesome in so many ways

Several trips to IOP, first time on the Marsh side of Wild Dunes. Felt like we were the only ones there; very peaceful and serene. Property was awesome, stocked with quality items, everything one would need. Spacious with multiple decks, complete package ! Highly recommend.

Beautifully appointed home with marsh views

Our friends and we (3 couples) have stayed in this home for several years when we attend the women's pro tennis tournament on Daniel Island. We come back every year because we love the decorating, the well equipped kitchen and the gorgeous views! Always such a wonderful experience. The property owner and manager are always responsive and a pleasure to work with. We'll be back!

Comfortable, well-equipped home with a fabulous view

Marsh Mellow was a wonderful place for a family member to recuperate from surgery. Not far from grocery stores and great restaurants, it was indeed close to nature, with the broad decks on two levels giving us front row seats for watching herons, egrets, kingfishers, butterflies, deer, and the gorgeous changing skies. Added touches in this home were the spices and other cooking extras available for our use. Coming home to Marsh Mellow was a pleasure.

This home is beautifully situated overlooking the marsh. Spectacular views and sunsets. Six adults stayed very comfortably here. The home is nicely maintained and is well stocked with the essentials. Thank you for sharing your fabulous home.

High School Friends Weekend

Had a wonderful long weekend with old high school friends at Marsh—Mellow. The house had everything we needed, and while in a quiet location (with beautiful views!!!), was also convenient to things we wanted to do when we did venture out. Allison was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Beach / Marsh getaway

This was our families second visit to Marsh Mellow (2018). We were concerned about the Wild Dunes access and no golf cart. Neither was an issue. The house was even better than we remembered with some nice upgrades (AC was great). The views on the marsh for both sunrise and sunset are the best we have ever seen on vacation. Our college age son and his friend had plenty to do and full access to all wild Dunes had to offer and did not miss the resort pool. They did use the courts, the pool we had and we rented chairs through wild Dunes for the beach. Allison was on point once again responding to any text in a timely manner. With rented bikes, everything is within (3-10 minute) ride. When we went to the beach, we simply drove supplies down to the boardwalk and road bikes. If you want a golf cart simply rent early. Overall we loved this stay and will be back again. The house and location are amazing to unwind.

The area is lovely, the house is rather secluded and private which we found appealing. The views were exceptional and bathrooms and kitchen clean. We never were able to open the garage so couldn't take advantage of the golf cart or bikes.... besides that, no problems.

Perfect weekend!

I am a lowcountry local and this property had the best marsh view I’ve seen! Golf cart distance to beach, restaurants, and live music. Even the neighbors were friendly :) Thanks for the perfect girls weekend!

Marsh Mellow is the perfect getaway!

We are three couples who attend the Charleston Open tennis tournament every year. For the last three years, we've chosen to stay at Marsh Mellow and we are always delighted! The marsh views are fabulous, both from the panoramic glass windows facing rear of house---and the two story porch. The house is decorated beautifully with art and paintings, like a home, not a rental. The house manager Allison is super responsive and the house is always clean, set up properly with king beds for us all and well stocked. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely location. The marsh is amazingly quiet and peaceful. Eclectic decor. Everything was clean. Nice living spaces and great outdoor spaces including a downstairs screened porch. Owner has thought of many extra details.
