Enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and the location perfect for our needs. We picked a wonderful time of year - mid-September and the weather was not too hot during the day and pleasantly cool in the evening. The only negative thing about the house was the very dirty sofa that was the main seating area in the living room. We draped our own towels and a sleeping bag over top to feel comfortable sitting on it. Otherwise, the amenities in the house were fabulous.

This place was darling and perfectly suited for our group of 6. Very clean and well maintained. Easy access to beach. We liked that we could be in the business of the beach within 5 minutes and be out of the craziness in 5 minutes.

Family vacation to Folly

Amazing house! Was concerned at first about being over the bridge but was a short bike ride and/or walk. The house was gorgeous and had the best views of the river. We loved having breakfast on the deck(s) and our kids loved the upper deck at night. So much space for everyone. Completely recommend

July 4th vacation

My husband and I, another couple, and our 2 dogs stayed at Fin & Tonic for a long weekend getaway over the July 4th holiday, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is well equipped with everything you’d need - it feels much more like a home than many other rentals I’ve stayed in previously. The beds and furniture are comfortable throughout. There are lovely views from all of the porches and Folly is just a stones throw away. We also ventured downtown Charleston for dinner one night and the drive was only about 20 minutes each way. Overall, we all agreed we loved this rental and would love to return again in the future!

Very clean, and had every kitchen/bath item needed and available for use that I thought of while there. Short drive to beach, and close to downtown & historic Charleston. Thanks for the great stay!

Cooper River Bridge Run

My family and I traveled to Folly Beach for the Cooper River Bridge run for the weekend. We had an incredible stay. In the mornings we would ride our bikes to the beach and return shortly after to hang out of on the rooftop! Perfect location, size, homeliness! We would definitely recommend this to our friends.

Great House

Loved the home, especially the decor and art. Home was beautifully appointed, had everything we needed and the short jaunt over the bridge to downtown is easily walkable/bikeable. We rented bikes and also got a golf cart from Starfire golf cart rental (ask for Whitney-she’ll take great care of you!) we will be back!

Great Home!

We booked this home for NYE break and it did not disappoint. The home was wonderful! Decorated so well and it truly felt like our own house. It was cozy and warm. The view from the decks and rooftop were stunning. Watching the NYE drone show from the rooftop had to be the best place in allOf Folly Beach

Favorite House in Follu

I have stayed in many places on Folly. This was the best. Cannot beat the view of river with dolphins swimming, sun deck at sunset with cocktails or breakfast alfresco on porch. Soft beds, soft linens and the most well stocked kitchen ever. Quiet even though there was construction going on all around. Plenty of room for whole family. Never had any issues with anything and the whole family wants to stay at Fin & Tonic again. I loved how kitchen was labeled so so could find what Zi needed for cooking and also for putting dishes away. Stove top is a bit tricky but once I figured it out, cooking was such fun. I usually bring my own sheets because we hate sateen sheets. The sheets were Cotton and soft, plenty of thick towels for whole crew. Baby gate a plus for keeping the dog in place. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful home in a great location

The home was very well-equipped for our small family. We enjoyed the location, away from the hustle and bustle of Folly Beach yet close enough to be in the middle of Folly Beach in less than 5 minutes.

Perfect

The house is beautiful. Loved the views on the inter coastal. We even saw dolphins! We loved being able to bring our dogs in our quick weekend getaway. The property came with a credit for beach gear. We chose to rent bikes which made it super easy to get to the beach on a busy July 4th weekend. Short bike ride over the bridge and a guaranteed spot to park the bikes. Everything was perfect. We would rent this place again for sure.

Easy Living and Water Views = Amazing Vacay at Fin & Tonic

This place was FANTASTIC! The check in and arrival process was super easy. Communication was conducted via text message so it wasn't intrusive. The space was comfortable and everything we needed was readily available. The house is configured for entry into the sleeping areas and the living areas are above to maximize the view. That was a problem for my elderly parents, so keep that in mind if traveling with someone who has trouble with stairs. I marked it down for cleanliness because the throw blankets in the family room and extra blankets for the bedrooms were not washed. There were spills of some kind of red juice on some of the items. Not a major problem. We did a quick load of laundry, but it was a little disconcerting given that we are still dealing with COVID and the place allows pets. Again, not a huge deal but something to be aware of if that's a concern for other travelers. I also marked down cleanliness because all the knives in the block were used and just put back. The light switches were also dirty; as if little sticky hands touched several. Also not earth shattering, we wiped them down and washed dished and utensils before use as we usually do anyway, but again it was off putting. There were a couple dead bugs behind a nightstand in the guest bedroom and one HUGE live cockroach on our last evening decided to strut across the kitchen floor lol. Funny because at least he waited until we were leaving. Definitely could tell the owners sprayed the place regularly since that's all the bugs we noticed. I'm from the Island and I know how hard those are to keep out. They can sneak in when you open any door. And the proximity to the water doesn't help. The remotes for the indoor ceiling fans were all on the same frequency, so turning off and on and adjusting the fan speeds took some creative angling but we got it to work out. Recommend mounting the ceiling fan remotes for the porch near the switch. It took us a while to find those. There were also no instructions for how to work the stove. My husband eventually figured it out, but adding that to the arrival book (unless we overlooked it) would be helpful. Overall, this place was great and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable landing pad while visiting the area. The home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the views of the water were just AMAZING. We would definitely stay here again. Renting beach gear was so convenient too. Thanks for a fantastic stay!!
