We had a fantastic stay at this immaculate historic home in Charleston. The owners clearly take pride in the property and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The house was spotless, full of charm, and stocked with thoughtful touches. Best of all, the location was perfect—just steps from great bars, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore. We would happily stay here again!

Ideal location blocks from King Street with outstanding coffee options just steps away. Comfy beds & responsive property managers willing to help with any concerns. Charleston is a great choice for dining, shopping and exploring history. Would come back to Indigo House without question.

Highly Recommended

This home was perfect for my friends and I, we had a wonderful stay! It is well decorated, spacious, and clean. Reaching out to the staff was easy; they were all very friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond. The property was walking distance from many shops, cafes, and restaurants. We highly recommend it and would stay here again!

Amazing!

Went for my bachelorette trip with 5 other girls. House was amazing and clean. Each room had their own bathrooms which was great. The house is well kept and beautiful. The location was perfect with two coffee shops within minutes and king street just a little further. Parking is tight which was noted but we were easily able to find street parking when needed. Beds were very comfy. The house is on the street so street noise/light to be expected but nothing that was outrageous. Contact with the company was so easy and response was quick. Would love to stay there again!

Trash Removal Management

Overall, our impression of the property and its management are highly favorable. Vacation stay was impacted by snowstorm and ice. Prior to our arrival, someone placed the garbage cans at the curb. They were absolutely full, meaning we had nowhere to place our trash and recyclables. Perhaps trash removal service was impacted by the storm. Inside the home, our only negative observation is the choice to install closet hangers that cannot be removed caused problems, especially for the shorter persons in our party. Please consider replacing these hangers with a model that can be removed to place clothing upon them and then returned to the closets.

Girls trip at Indigo House

Our girls trip was amazing and Indigo House was the perfect location. We loved that each room had a king bed and it's own bathroom- a must for 7 girls. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is NO storage, for anything. Not even a surface to put things on in most bathrooms. If even a couple dressers or drawer space could be added it would make such a difference. Also, the front rooms really need black out blinds of some sort- the lamppost right outside the window is so bright. Easy changes if possible, otherwise it was truly perfect- so much Charleston charm!

Girls Trip

We thought the house was perfect for our trip. I think the only downfall would be that the front bedrooms are really close to the sidewalk and street. Wasn't too much of an issue for our group with the noise but if you are a light sleeper you might want to rethink this location. Location was perfect to walk to King Street, cute cafe's near by, we all felt safe.

Girls weekend

Great house for our college girls weekend. Loved that every room has a full bathroom! Big comfy beds in every room. Great location to walk to everything we wanted to do downtown. Already planning to book again next year!

Great house in a perfect location

We met our adult children in Charleston to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed the layout of the house and the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this house.

Location was great and staff was supportive. But no rooms had TVs or anywhere to put clothing. TVs in main areas did not function. Very little seating. Living space did not match picture. One very small kitchen and other was a wert bar. Great place for a frat party, but not much more. NOT family friendly. Way over priced for what we got.

Cute house and great location

Lots to like about this house. The living room is on the second floor. First floor has 2 bedrooms kitchen and huge dining table. Second floor has living room, 2 bedrooms and the washer dryer. The doors do not automatically lock so make sure you lock up!

We liked the ample bathrooms Temperature regulation at times a challenge but weather was variable that weekend. Lighting in the bedrooms needs enhanced Closets (yes, old house) in A not very functional- especially with the attached hangars Don't need so many of those. ALOT of cooking pans and far too many plates etc- too many old, etc. Just use a nice set from season to season (we rent houses) More not better. No shelf space near pedestal sinks. Overall good place, harder to compete with total refurbs like what is across street but was a nice base for our wedding guests. Parking on street easier than I expected.
