Ample bathrooms. AC worked well. Clean. Toiletries well-stocked. Ample linens. Good location between downtown and Citadel. Quirky things: Both kitchens are small. If you plan to cook, bring things with you and expect to be cramped. King BR door won’t close unless heavy sleeper sofa is moved. Quirky layout due to home sectioned off into “hotel units”. Rooms are nicely decorated though. It’s Charleston, so the house is old. Foundation settling. Floors are slanted a bit—especially in King Bath so be careful getting in/out of tub. Upper balcony also slanted so be careful not to tip anything cylindrical over (soda can, water bottle or JBL speaker), it will roll right off. Water pressure was poor. Ice trays would’ve been nice, since there’s no ice maker. Joggle board has crack on one of the supports so we didn’t risk sitting on it. More rockers on the upper porch would have been nice. Outdoor seating for four people only. Description of room layouts wasn’t quite as described on website. There is one sleeper sofa in a small LR just outside the King bedroom. Also another small sleeper sofa for one adjacent to downstairs kitchen. Really tough to fit 12 family members into any of the living spaces so just be advised if that’s your intent. Parking is behind house in church parking lot and you’re not able to park there from 8 AM to 3 PM on Sunday. Not a big deal, but just a heads up. Stay was nice, but I want to help others prepare.
