Highly satisfied!

Amazing views and comfortable amenities. Reverse floor plan is awkward at first but serves to frame in the ocean setting during meal prep and outdoor dining.

Reviewer Comments: This house has lots of rooms and the view is spectacular, but we were a little frustrated because several things weren’t working properly. and the kitchen supplies were limited. Vacation View

This is a spectacular location in a less densely populated area of the island. The views from the second floor are amazing. Starting and ending the day there was my favorite. Bike riding on the beach as a family was incredible. And of course that doesn’t even touch on world class golf!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views are unmatched! Spent lots of time on porch enjoying the gorgeous views. All 5 bedrooms have their own bath. For a house this size, the kitchen is just ok. We were cooking for 12 and it was tough. If yo don’t plan on poking it’ll be just fine. Nice big dining table for meals, cards and games.

Disabled visitors should reconsider

Views are stunning. Property is beautiful and very clean, but needs some love. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfy and each has a private bath. HOWEVER, property states that it is wheelchair friendly with an elevator…a useless, broken elevator. My 65 yo husband had to carry our disabled 33yo quadriplegic daughter up the steep front stairs. She was only able to access the first level. No wheelchair accessible bath on that level either. We had to shower her OUTSIDE using the pool shower. She wasn’t able to access the main level for meals in the dining room with the rest of the family. ESPM did offer another house, but we were already settled into this one. The thought of moving was overwhelming. Because of the elevator issue, we only took her out once during the week. Spa was also broken. Spent the first three days texting and speaking with ESPM. Spa was finally fixed. For $18,000, things should have been operating properly. Won’t be returning or renting from this company again.

Best porch on kiawah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have rented this home 4 times in late summer. The porch off the kitchen is the reason I keep coming back. Dinners on the large table looking over the ocean are our favorite tradition. Updates to some bathrooms, the pool and driveway are much appreciated and look great. However this year too many important things were not working. Elevator was not usable and in this house with kitchen 2 tall floors up, made lugging groceries very hard. Several chairs around the dining table outside were broken or missing. 2 burners were out on the range and the vent has not worked for 2 years. I hope this year will see some attention to appliances and some love to the outside living spaces. That said, this house is still my favorite. It has a large common space, great outdoor space, very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms without the ridiculously large ostentatious bathrooms that Kiawah homes seem to love. We cook a lot and find the kitchen space convenient (when the appliances work). I love the small kitchen downstairs for overflow. And the spice cabinet is well stocked. The location is ideal if you enjoy quieter parts of Kiawah. Beach is 1/4 mile walk through the golf course and we regularly see alligators and deer.

Beautiful Kiawah home on Ocean course overlooking the Atlantic

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four adult couples rented this beautiful home the last week of September to celebrate a couple of the girls 60th birthdays. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and the home was in wonderful condition. The location is magnificent with the ocean course right side our back door and the Atlantic in the background. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy each other‘s company on both the first and second floors. The kitchen is well stocked and even has many spices for occasional indoor cooking. The outdoor decks and swimming pool are very beautiful. This home is perfectly suited for Adults where you don’t want or need to go to the beach every day. Beach access can be very cumbersome. If you plan to bring young children and go to the beach often I could see this as a major pain where you need to zigzag through the golf course to get to the beach. Not terribly far but it is certainly not a five minute ordeall. It is right on the main road which means the bike paths are right outside your front door. If your goal is to enjoy a large home that is well maintained and located right on the bike path with a magnificent rear/ocean view , where direct beach access is not important then this home is perfect for you. One last comment, we had to call management a couple of times for some small things and their response was immediate! Very good service from that perspective.

Beautiful View....Needs Attention

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is breathtakingly spectacular which translates to the rental price. That being said, there are many things on the inside and outside that need attention. The toilet in the master bathroom backed-up causing raw sewage to back-up into the neighboring bath tub and shower. Water from the toilet leaked into the downstairs bedroom...through the chandelier. An outdoor dining chair collapsed while someone was sitting on it. Requests had to be made to have the overflowing garbage removed. The pool desperately needed to be vacuumed. For such a beautiful home, much of the furniture and decor was old and tired.

We loved this property!

The house is just what it looked like in the pictures - beautiful. The views were amazing. We brought our grown children, parents and a new baby. It was just the right amount of bedrooms all with attached bathrooms. We entertained some friends from the area and had plenty of room for extra guests for dinner. If we come back with this number of people again we'd love to rent the property again.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Kiawah ... house looks out over #12 green and #13 tee box of the Ocean Course with #15 fairway and ocean view in the distance ... simply a beautiful view ... home is dated ... no stereo system (at least for guests) pool tile is crumbling and elevator system not working (which is important when the main living area is on the second floor) ... we regularly visit Kiawah and while the home is wonderfully located within easy walk to the beach and excellent biking .. the house needs some love
