The host left a little gift upon arrival and was very responsive to our questions. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the location is fantastic. We traveled with 7 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The sunroom was our favorite!

There was excellent communication with a quick solution to a small issue. The home is spacious comfortable, clean and convenient to the town and beaches of Folly. The large screened porch was especially nice. We watched six deer wander through the back yard. Beds were very comfortable. We hope to return next year!

The house is spacious, lovely and inviting with everything you could need. It’s close to everything but with a nice atmosphere of privacy. We had great communication and straight forward information. Would come back again.

Seven women cousins from five states/seven cities spent four nights/five days here in Oct. while a tropical weather system stalled in the Atlantic and brought rain every day. Thankfully, we all get along and the house was amazing. Very clean! Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Beds comfortable. Games and books were available for us to use. Folly Beach is a wonderful beach and and a quaint town-We just did not get to experience much of it during this stay. If we could have gotten to the beach during typical Oct. weather in SC, the wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, and other extras provided would have been great. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice property with a "nature center" feel backyard. All of the decor is nicely themed and the whole place is very comfortable.We appreciated the "starter" laundry/dish detergent, shampoo, etc. .There are plenty of dishes, cups, cooking utensils, and the like for the party size this house can accommodate, which we don't always find to be true.A big shout-out to the property owners for excellent communication leading up to the rental, and during the stay.

A cozy and great place with a nice beach vipe. Has everything you would need to feel at home and sleep, wash up and eat Do bring a wagon though to get your stuff to the beach. It's a short walk, but water, snacks, toys, seats and towels add up.

July 4th

Came here for the fourth of july with my partner and 6 friends and had a wonderful time. Sunroom was a huge hit. Walkable to the beach and downtown Folly. Great house!

Mermaid Getaway to celebrate 50th!

A clean and well-maintained property that allowed for a relaxing beach vacation and girls trip. Living area and porch area especially accommodated conversations, relaxation and friendlly games. Comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen with cleaning supplies appreciated.We would absolutely stay here again!

Fabulous Folly

We loved our stay at Mermaid folly. Walking to beach on paths was so easy. We brought our own chairs and beach towels because we only live 30 miles away but didn’t need to. There were plenty of chairs, towels and booger boards to use. The home is perfect and comfortable with everyone getting their own rooms. We had NO issues and the hosts are super! We look forward to renting in the future. Kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Recognition weekend

We enjoyed a long weekend celebrating our son completing his Knob year at The Citadel. The house was very nice with all the accommodations that we needed. We were also able to enjoy a short time on the beach. The property manager was easy to communicate with and answered any questions promptly.

Perfect Spot

We loved our stay at Mermaid’s Folly. Close to all the local spots we wanted to visit and an easy drive to Charleston. The house itself was so comfortable. Lots of cozy, comfortable seating areas, a well-supplied kitchen, comfortable bedrooms. We loved it all.

One of our best vacations

We have been to other parts of South Carolina before but have found Folly Beach as our new favorite beach! Mermaid's Folly was so clean and furnished beautifully, the neighborhood was quiet and in great proximity to the beach and downtown. It was also so close to Charleston. We are already talking about visiting again!

Clean, Comfortable Charleston Charm

We lived in Charleston for many years before work moved us to the upstate. It was so wonderful to stay at Mermaid’s Folly and feel like we were right back home! The home is beautiful and well appointed with anything to make your stay comfortable! We loved that it’s tucked back off the main roadway but still close enough ito take a short walk to the beach or the stores and restaurants. Everything is well maintained and clean. I can be a bit OCD with cleanliness but I didn’t have to worry here at all! We so appreciated the environment they’ve created here! Comfortable, clean, inviting, laid-back and beyond charming! Thank yall for a fantastic rental!

Perfect place for family!!!

We brought out 4 teenagers to see charleston and spend time at the beach. House was perfect for our trip! Great location! We did sight seeing in the morning and then beach time when we got back. House was well equipped - good kitchen set up, beach towels were provided and lots of games & books at night. Walkable to loggerheads restaurant for easy dinner. Parking on folly beach is difficult so it’s a real perk that this house is walkable to the Main Street and the beach. Would definitely go back again! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Mermaids Folly

The house was a perfect spot to stay for a family wedding. Close to the beach, near the shops. Even rented bikes and rode around the the island. Highly recommend this property!
