Plenty of room for everyone!

We enjoyed spending evenings on the screened in porch. We played games and had dinners together. Though there are only two bathrooms, we made it work. We never ran out of hot water! The beds were comfortable. Once warning to those with allergies, the pillows are stuffed with feathers. Many in our group began having issues by mid-week. BYO pillows or extra covers.We look foreward to staying again!

A few days in Folly Beach

A few days were great! The house is as described and a very short walk to the beach. It was also pretty easy to get into Charleston for dinners.

Close to town and also very private area of the beach. a lot of room in the house but strange layout with living room being on second floor. Loved the location as it was walking distance easily to town. Very quiet neighborhood

The house was overall clean, floors needed a real good mopping. The downstairs bathroom was a very strange layout, but overall the house was large and close to the beach. A very easy walk. If beach chairs and umbrellas were provided it would be a complete win!!

Nice cottage

Nice property which has been maintained well. Good kitchen with lots of utensils to work with and two refrigerators, one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room off of the kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable and had adequate plugs for devices. Nice seating areas for watching TV or playing games. Stairs to second floor are on the steep side so people with mobility issues may want stay downstairs. Closets have lots of room and there is a TV in each of the bedrooms. Very short walk to the beach. Nice screened porch to sit on. Adequate parking off street. Only a couple of things to be aware of. The downstairs bathroom shower is across the the dining room in another room and not with the rest of the bathroom. No place to hang coats, hats, etc. Only six chairs for the dining room table. The whole town is a speed trap so watch your speed.

Christmas on Folly

Great location and a very nice house. Loved the screened in front porch. Downstairs shower was in a rather odd location off of the dining room/kitchen area. Plenty of dishes, cookware, but did not furnish adequate dishwashing detergent for a 1 week stay. We would stay again.

Great Time

We enjoyed our time in Folly. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful, the people on the island were very welcoming. Great food and great vibes. The house was clean and the perfect size for our party. The enclosed porch was perfect for your morning coffee!

Nice house

The house is nice overall, the front porch is amazing. The upstairs is renovated and nice, some great hangout spots. The downstairs is older and could do with some updating. But it’s spacious and the rooms are large. It fit 5 adults and 4 kids nicely.

Beautiful house & beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach. "Shore Beats Work" worked perfect for a weekend work trip to celebrate eight years of our business. We would suggest further notating that guests should bring their own beach chairs/towels/etc as we felt that was the main thing that the home lacked. Also, sugar would be a great staple to keep at the home for coffee, etc. as it is a bit unnecessary to buy for a short period of time. Thanks for a great place to host our weekend away.

Great house & great location

We were a group of four adults and two 13 year olds. This house had plenty of space and was furnished perfectly. The large enclosed porch was great to sit in and have coffee. We walked to town and to the beach; so easy. Our communications with the hosts were answered quickly. Highly recommended as a place to stay. Charleston was easy to access from here.

Spring break

Older home but is very clean. Upstairs is where the TV and family room is so if you have guests that aren’t stair friendly. Downstairs shower also has a large curb to step over and there were some spills. Bring a non slip bath mat cause there is not one supplied! All and all a good experience. Ps. Don’t let the Google images of the neighbor to the south, he’s the bees knees

Great house

The property management company was very efficient and had great communication from time of booking til check out. The house was very large and clean. Only downfall was there were only TVs in 2 bedrooms but that's just a preference for us not a must for many others. The porch is amazing and gave us a nice dry place to spend the one rainy day. I would highly recommend this place for large groups

The property was great overall! I do wish they had one more bathroom for a larger group, and a walkway from the parking area to the house. The kitchen, front porch, and upstairs areas were amazing. Location was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again!

Great place a block from the beach!

This property is a 5 minute walk to the beach, just a block away. Excellent screened in porch. They DO change the bedspreads for each guest stay, which was lovely to see! Another guest noted that the downstairs bathroom is split. There's a room with just a shower off the dining room and a half bath between the two bedrooms. Wasn't an issue at all, just an odd set up that was nice to have a heads up about.

First on Folly

Great house! Great location! Loved the front porch! Having two rooms sharing a bathroom (toilet/sink) on the first floor where the shower is across on the other side of bottom floor where you have to walk through kitchen area is not convenient, but it was not a big deal for us. The beach was not crowed where our access was and the walk short! We enjoyed our stay very much!
