Flower shopping
4 friends flower shopping. This house worked perfect for us. Had everything we needed. Our only regret is we didn’t stay 2 nights! We loved looking at all of the unique decorations and character of the house.

Wedding weekend
My husband and I stayed here two nights the weekend of our wedding and it was the perfect location and distance from our ceremony/reception. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space to have our wedding party over for lunch and to get ready/dressed for the ceremony as well. It's a very comfortable house and we would definitely consider staying here again and have recommended it to our friends if they have people coming to town!

Convenient and historical
Great large home super clean and close to everything. The home itself is historical with large wooden crown molding and high ceilings, 2 sitting rooms and a large dining room table. Very pleased with the size and smitten with the unique house. The host was very quick with her response and always friendly.

This is the second time we've stayed at this house while visiting family in the area. It's an older house but very nice and clean. Very well stocked. Works great for a family.

The Charles City Guest house
This property was very clean, well appointed and close to grocery stores and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Charles City.

Perfect House in Charles City
The house was beautiful! So very spacious. One bedroom and 2 living rooms on the main floor, and bathroom. Second floor has 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Washer & dryer on each floor. All different kinds of games. The kitchen is very well stocked. We used the house for a girls weekend and marveled at the decor and original woodwork and doors. The two summer indoor porches on each floor were adorable. The porch on the second floor even had its own coffee maker so you could sit out there and read and sip coffee. The back porch has outdoor canvas chairs and umbrellas. There’s a table, chairs, and bench outside also that we sat and visited during the night. This property is definitely worth staying at.

Large home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed our family to all stay together. Perfect fit. Even a few toys in the front porch for my great niece.

Perfect for our needs
This is a large, spacious older home with lots of character. We were on a girls' overnight, plant shopping trip and 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for us. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were charming. We didn't need them, but washer and dryer were available on both levels! The kitchen was large and well-equipped. The house could use some small, cosmetic updates, but it was very clean and comfortable! We all appreciated having our own bedrooms. Perfect spot for our overnight stay!

Excellent accomodations
Nice place to stay and very comfortable. Enjoyed using the charcoal grill and having a comfortable living room space for adults to visit while others could play games in room with TV. Would recommend this place if you are in the Charles City area.

Class Reunion
Four of us stayed here for our class reunion and it was perfect! The location was very convenient for getting to and from events, picking up things at the store and meeting up with friends. All of us would highly recommend it for other groups. Lots of space to spread out and comfortably spend time connecting.
