This was our first time staying at this location, & it did not disappoint. My husband & I enjoy tranquil, quiet vacations, but we also look for areas that offer a splash of fun when we can invite the kids & grandkids along. We could not have picked a better spot. Every morning, for hours, my husband & I sat talking, reading, & drinking coffee, ultimately taking in the stillness of the lake and sounds (or lack thereof) all around. We arrived on a Monday & stayed until Saturday morning, so we experienced a quiet lake—minimal boats and kayakers. I am sure some weekends can be busier than others, but we were not there on a Saturday or Sunday to experience the difference in potential weekend traffic. Our evenings were spent in the screened-in porch off the master room. Every day, the sky was incredible.We didn't bring a pet, but if you have one, the home is pet-friendly. The home is also child-friendly; we had the pleasure of hosting our 12-month-old granddaughter for a couple of hours, & the house was stress-free for her & me, lol, as her parents enjoyed the kayaks that were provided.The owners were incredibly kind & quick to respond. We will most definitely be staying here again. We are thankful for the time we spent here.

The availability of water toys was such a bonus. The layout of the house was perfect. Our days were filled with family and fun! I would suggest a few blankets for the couches and more silverware. Thanks so much for making the house perfect!

Annual Family Vacation

This is the 4th year staying at Camp Q. We love the location. We have family that camps during the same week so it’s a great home with plenty of space when it’s my night for dinner. The cove is perfect for floating. The house has everything we need for a relaxing stay. If there is a problem the owners are always available and ready to help. You won’t find a better gem on the lake!

Great home — would come back

My family (5 adults, one toddler) really enjoyed this property! It was nice to have us all on one level but still enough space to spread out. The kitchen is well-stocked with pans/pots/gadgets and newer appliances. We loved having the outdoor fire pit in the backyard and would have taken advantage of it more had we not had rain during our stay. This would be a great property to come to in the early Spring of Fall as well.

August 2024 Vacation

We had another great vacation at Camp Q! It’s the perfect place for our family vacations! This trip started with us catching a 15.5 lb catfish right off the dock on the first night. Between the swimming, fishing, and amazing sunsets, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We look forward to our future stays!

Relaxing retreat

We were pleasantly surprised that the property was everything advertised. Just sitting in the great room looking at the lake was worth the stay. We achieved what we came to do....chill.

Loved the outdoor kitchen and covered boat dock

everyone really enjoyed our stay, everything you provided made us feel at home and i loved that five burner stove in kitchen, all we did was relax around the dock and put plenty of miles on the pontoon boat, just good overall time with friends and i hope to be back with my son and my mother in near future. I hope we left everything as we found, wonderful place and thanks for having us.

Great Vacation

We loved the lake house. The outdoor spaces are terrific. The beds were comfortable and everything you could need was provided. We were a little disappointed that Dish Network was not available as we saw listed when we booked.

Beautiful

It is a lovely property. Love the layout of the house and grounds. However, the showers need to be addressed. The master bath shower floor is squishy. The guest bathtub has a giant hole that has been covered over. Yikes! The outdoor kitchen had not been cleaned. Otherwise, it’s a fabulous place!

Peaceful Serenity

Camp Q in Chappells South Carolina is a peaceful and great getaway for my wife and I . This was our third year and plan on it annually. Thee best hosts and are hands on to their guests needs. sheer Paradise

This place was just amazing. My husband and I are senior citizens and do not get to go overnight because of our pet dogs. The house is just beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and fishing during the day.There are so many areas and porches to escape to and enjoy the scene of the lake.Anything you might need in the kitchen is right there. The only way to describe this retreat is Sheer Paradise. We loved it!

Calm cool and collected

Great vacation!

We had a great week at Camp Q! Everything was as described in the listing. The property is beautiful and the house has plenty of nice amenities to make the stay great. The family and I enjoyed fishing and swimming all week long, we had an excellent week of weather! The sunsets we’re all great, but Monday’s was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! We’re looking forward to making another trip to Camp Q next year!

Great stay at Camp Q!

Camp Q was a great property with perfect lake access. Had a great time lounging in the outdoor patio, swimming in the lake, and riding paddleboards with the kids. The location is on a great part of the lake and very quiet. Would defnitely stay again!
