"The home is nicely decorated and clean. The living room furniture is comfortable and generously seats up to six people. I like that the furniture is not cloth which makes it feel even cleaner.Kitchen drawers and cabinets as well as light switches, etc. were labeled which we thought was a nice touch. "What a wonderful house!! The hosts have done a great job making it a home away from home. In addition to being beautifully restored, it comes complete with so many small but thoughtful touches. "The home was beautiful and comfortable. It was very clean and spacious. Only complaint is when you view the home on VRBO it doesn’t say that the train runs right in front of the house. The train runs every 30min and is very loud. We had older people with us and they hardly slept. I finally was able to go deeper and find out about the train, but it needs to be posted on the main page. Sorry wearing ear plugs didn’t help either. "

"This property is quiet, secluded and there is not a detail missing. The photos don't do it justice. The entire inside of the dome is like staying in an interior design magazine. It can get a bit toasty during the hot Texas summer days even with the a/c running but the dome cools off pretty quick once the sun goes down. If you are debating booking this just do it! It's worth every penny. "

"This property was PERFECT for a familyweekend in Brenham for my son’s wedding. The couple’s familys, ranging in age from 4 months to 72 were very comfortable in this roomy property.
