Wonderful lake getaway
Beautiful, pristine home on a lovely lake setting. Kayla was very responsive and has created a perfect lake getaway for family and friends. The home was very well appointed, comfy bedding and lots of extras for outdoor enjoyment. Great spot to bring a boat as well as fish from the dock. We can’t wait to return.

Lake Weekend
Property was great, perfect location. House was very clean, plenty of space. Public boat launch was very close, about a three minute drive. We enjoyed the dock, the fireplace and the kayaks. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful Lake House
We had an amazing time at this home! We were able to dock our boat and walk right out to the lake. The house was great and the beds were very comfortable! Great appliances and tons of refrigerator space!

Lake house
The house was great. Location was great. Plenty of room. Loved the dock. Just have boat and jetskies would have been better to have all the dock but we managed. Will definitely rent again.

House is spacious, clean and very well appointed. We loved taking the boats out and watching the water from the deck in particular. Cooking was easy in the well stocked kitchen and everyone slept well at night on the comfy beds. Two thumbs up!

Great place to stay
We traveled from Ohio with friends for a wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the choice of property. Everything exceeded our expectations for the price! Also quiet and somewhat secluded! Would recommend this to anyone. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary cooking items for dining in, this made my wife extremely happy.

Girls Getaway
This house was wonderful! The views were beautiful and house so clean and well equipped. We had 5 ladies and we all had a comfortable space. Manager Kayla was wonderful to work with and so accommodating! House more than met our expectations. Would definitely rent again.

Girls Getaway
What a wonderful house! The house was so clean and well equipped. We were 5 ladies and we all had a comfortable space. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. Kayla the manager was wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would definitely rent this home again. It is on our list of favorites!

Amazing LakeHouse!
This was the perfect getaway on the lake. Everything you could possibly want. Incredible house on the water with dock and so much room located in a quiet cove on Lake Murray! We really had the best weekend and didn’t even need to leave the house. All of us can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this house to families or groups. Hosts were very helpful and responded to any questions we had right away!

Amazing Views
This is a beautiful house and it is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos. We had 7 of us and we had plenty of room. We loved the fire pit and the game room! The views of the lake are amazing. My husband was able to keep his bass boat at the dock and also we rented a pontoon boat at Lazy Waves for the day and docked it at the house while we had lunch. We came 12 hours from Michigan for a week long fishing trip and we had a perfect week at this house! 🙂

Wonderful House and Setup.
The house is fantastic. Newly remodeled and up to date. Only issues were that obviously they have some neighbor issues. They have the property lines lined off with security tape and rope and were constantly watching to see what we were doing. Other than that it is a great place, wish we had more time to spend there.

Lake Murray Thanksgiving 2022
This property was so much more than we ever could have expected! The location is exquisite, and the house is richly appointed and the owners (Kathy & Gary) and manager (Kayla) go above and beyond to make sure that the house is spotless, well maintained and full of everything you need for a great stay. The bedroom and living space works really well as ourselves and each of our children's families had plenty of personal space, and the common space gave everyone plenty to do. Close to everything at Lake Murray, and an easy drive to Columbia we enjoyed a wonderful day at the zoo, and a night around the fire pit. Mornings were spent enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. Highly recommend this house and owner!

Amazing all around!!!!
We are a large family traveled from Ohio to celebrate our sons graduation from U of SC! The place was amazing! Perfect distance for the back and forth to Columbia and so many amenities and extras! The house was stocked! We did a lot of cooking for 12 and had plenty of untensils dishes and things - was just like home! I was prepared with things like salt and pepper toilet paper and such and needed NONE of it with all that was there! House was truly HOME! Hostess was beyond AMAZING - the way she cared for the house and us I thought she was the owner! If we ever get back to Lake Murray which we hope to we will absolutely rent this home again! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for you TRUE Southern Hospitality!

The most perfect setting!
Such a beautiful property with the most amazing view! We came down to celebrate the High school graduation of my niece. The house was very clean and the property was well kept. The bathrooms and kitchen had high end finishes, and the whole house was nicely decorated. We were surprised with tons of great little extras like firewood for the fire pit, board games, beach towels, toiletries(shampoo, conditioner, body wash), laundry detergent, and a nice selection books.
We had five children between the ages of 3 and 11 that spent every day jumping in and out of the lake, and taking the kayaks and canoes on adventures. We loved sitting by the fire at night, gazing out to the peaceful cove. If we weren’t at the fire at night, we were engaged in serious foosball tournaments in the spacious basement. There was lots of refrigerator space (two full-size and one under counter beverage refrigerator) and all of the cooking utensils that we could have possibly asked for.
While we were in town, we visited many local attractions and loved the home’s proximity to grocery shopping and restaurants. On our ride home, I asked my three children what was their favorite part of their vacation. Their unanimous answer… “The house!” We look forward to staying here again in the future when we come to visit!

The house was wonderful! It had everything you could imagine and then some. We had 6 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room. Loved the downstairs space. The dock is awesome!! Would definitely recommend!!

Great Vacation
Family spent wonderful week. Great location on lake. We brought our boat and the public access just around the cove made launching very easy. Loved the boat dock. Just around the tip of the cove to settle the water a bit. Very nice swimming at the dock and the little brim swimming around made it a bit like an aquarium. House has been well remodeled with plenty of room inside and parking outside. It’s located on a dead end road but with the circle at the end it’s very easy to turn around your boat and trailer. We have a large boat and absolutely no issues maneuvering. We’ve stayed at many houses on Lake Murray and while we like the experience of trying different houses this one is certainly on the repeat list. Close to Dreher Island and Liberty on the Lake and Catfish Johnny’s. Enjoyed hotdogs and s’mores by the fire pit, but the gas grill permanently attached to large propane tank with timed solenoid to turn on/off is a great setup. Very close to Chapin for groceries and such. Thanks for sharing your house with us.
