This property and Sherrie are amazing

This property was amazing! Sherrie was so helpful in answering any questions and resolving any issues that we had. Of all properties we have ever stayed in, this was impeccably clean. Amazing house in the woods!

We stayed during the month of Oct.-Nov. 2024. Loved the privacy and the beautiful fall colored leaves falling all around us. Everywhere you look there are art pieces of great diversity throughout the house. Couldn't believe how much we felt like we were in the midst of the wilderness but there is a wonderful grocery store a few minutes drive from the property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a charmer!

With a wonderful, well appointed screened in porch, this place is perfect. Clean, well supplied and a little artistic flair this bungalow checks all the boxes. The dinning room table can expand and seat 8. The kitchen has everything you need including a good supply of containers for leftovers. It is reallly a perfect place to stay

Amazing!

What a great place to stay! Not only is it clean and a beautiful house and surrounding area, but there are so many thoughtful details that are in this house. The screened in porch was amazing and great to have when there are so many mosquitos out and about. I would stay here again if I am back in the area!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay in Chapel Hill at this cabin in the woods! It’s only about 10-15 minutes from the UNC campus, but feels like its own world. This was definitely the best stocked home rental I’ve ever visited. The house is super cute and very cozy. We enjoyed our time!

Sumply Heaven

A return guest, Rock Haven is a gem on all levels! The house is settled serenely and literally, in the woods with nothing but birds, trees and fresh air to enjoy. The interior is clean, comfy, bright and airy. Quiet and Beautiful

This lovely little home is nestled into the woods in Chapel Hill. A short drive from the UNC campus, our family enjoyed the quiet respite to relax in after full days of activities. The house is artsy quirky, and the only thing to consider is if you have toddlers or very young children (ours are a little older) there are many pieces of art and antique furniture in the home. Overall it was a great fit for our family.

Absolute Paradise!

If you like the feeling of being in the woods in the middle of nothing, but in actuality only being 1.5 miles from the nearest grocery store, this is the place. Absolute serenity and a beautiful and comfortable house. I didn't want to leave!

Owner will ask you the same question a million times

If you want to be texted and emailed endlessly to the point of harassment then go for it. Owner will not use the website, they email and text you personally asking the exact same questions and make you feel very uncomfortable. Just get a hotel room.

Magical Place in the Forest

Everyone loved this unique cottage in the forest. The screened in porch and outside patios were real hits. The absence of city noises allowed us to hear the sounds of the forest. The unique architecture of the house allowed for private spaces and fun areas for the kids to engage in creative play activities. I personally may want to rent this for an autumn weekend when the leaves start changing. The ambience of the decor was very nice. To quote my 8 year-old grandson: "I love this house."

Peaceful Getaway in the woods

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property in the woods. My kids had a great time finding all the critters that live out in the forested area. The adults had a lovely time relaxing in the quiet. Would highly recommend!

Splendid Peaceful Getaway
