Very friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The place was in a great location on the beach front surrounded by nice restaurants. Breakfast was amazing

Great service

Everyone at the hotel is exceptionally kind and welcoming making sure that you can enjoy an incredible experience in Crete. They have have taken great care of us, the service was impeccable and the food amazing. Highly recommended for someone that wants to enjoy a pleasant and resting time.

Un personnel au petit soin, une chambre calme et arrangée avec goût, une petite plage privée très agréable. Parfait pour la haute saison et éviter le centre de la Chanée un peu trop fréquenté.

Simply Perfect!

I cannot over emphasize how AMAZING this hotel experience was! Everything was perfect. Steps out sliding doors was a gorgeous stone patio, comfy cushioned chairs and 3 steps to a big sandy beach and turquoise bue water. Staff were always acommodating and smiling, they brought ice water every few hours to us on the beach under the umbrellas on the lounge chairs. Breakfasts were superb and included. Shower water pressure also was a delight. Great location too!
Steps from the room is this idyllic beach!

One of the best times ever..

This is possibly the best place myself wife and I have ever stayed at around the world! From the time of check to the time of checking out we had the best experience we have ever had. The beach was just amazing, the breakfast was even better. This experience was a 11 & the people made it 12! Do not hesitate to stay a this location, you will not be disappointed! Love love our experience 🌺🙂

Absolutely Superb.

Amazing experience- location perfect for the sea and beach. Private Sun loungers made it even more special. The room views are amazing. The hotel breakfast was the best we’ve ever had and the menu outstanding. There are several restaurants nearby but we found ourselves staying at the hotel. Service was impeccable, nothing was too much and we felt so welcome. Definitely will be returning and definitely recommend.

Rooms are very clean and nice. The service is outstanding, the breakfast is very good. The beach is ideal for swimming and you can use the hotel sunbeds for no additional cost. Walking distance to several restaurants. One of our favorite hotels during our 6 weeks in Greece.

This hotel is spectacular, the layout, the decor and cleanliness are faultless. Both breakfasts and snacks off a good range and all fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff and what truly makes the Theodore so special, they all go over and beyond to make your stay so enjoyable. We can’t wait to return.

Amazing hotel and staff, 10/10 recommend!

Me and my partner stayed at this beautiful hotel in Crete. We got engaged here, so it will always be truly special for us! The staff was amazing, and our highlight of the day was the breakfast with the sea view. We also really appreciated the bar that offered nice drinks and good lunch snack. Nice beach beds at the private beach where the staff always offered cold water to drink. Walking distance to many other beaches, lunch restaurants etc. The area around is quite touristy and not as romantic and cozy as the hotel, but the hotel and staff is outstanding. We can really recommend this place!

This is a jewel of a hotel. Not only is it exquisitely beautiful, the customer service is top notch, comparable to the best hotels in the world. Breakfast - and all of the “snacks” on the menu which are perfect for lunch or a light dinner - is excellent. Recommend highly.

The hotel was exactly as advertised. The room was the best I have stayed in for space, amenities, abundance of towels and position right next to a lovely private beach. The staff were amazing: booking winery and taxis and suggesting great restaurants. They could not have done more for us. I don’t normally do reviews but this hotel and staff deserve the best review. I will return to The Theodore again so there is no greater praise than that

Wunderschönes Boutique Hotel mit nur 7 Zimmern direkt am Meer. Obwohl das Hotel in einer belebten Gegend ist hat man sehr viel Privatsphäre. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, der Service top - das Personal unglaublich freundlich. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen! Danke für die schöne Zeit bei euch!

When I say this hotel is a five star experience, it even feels like an understatement. From the staff to the view and the idyllic environment, The Theodore is perfection. I hesitate to even write a review because I worry it will get overrun with tourists, but not writing it would be a disservice to the hotel. It’s beyond expectations. A perfect place for a quiet beach stay. Thank you Theodore!!!

Absolutely loved this hotel, it exceeded all our expectations. We had a room on the ground floor which was a stones throw away from the beach. The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, always making sure we had fresh bottled water next to us. my favourite part was the massive bath in the middle of the room which I relaxed in each evening. The breakfast was amazing too. we will return x

Peaceful and Private Theodore. Excellent

We absolutely loved our stay at the Theodore Boutique Hotel. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted so warmly. The staff were so exceptionally good. Their presentation and hospitality was top class. This hotel was the perfect choice to be able to relax and really enjoy the beach for 5 nights. Special mention must be made of the stunning breakfast selection. Also the decor was so beautiful. Lovely selection of soft cream colours and use of raffia etc. Great bath. we loved the private beach chairs and the excellent pool bar service! At the end of the day the two special bean bags were also a favourite way to see the sun go down. This property is very well maintained and is very carefully managed. The happiness of the staff is seen through their delightful service and friendliness. The perfect place to stay after a very long flight! Absolutely top marks.

A real dream

What a gracious welcome! And what a gracious and smiling care throughout our stay! The premises are what dreams are made of. Breakfast is excellent. Two critical points. 1. The bathroom should have far more counters, railings, hooks, etc. (We didn't know where to put or hang our stuff.) 2. Something annoying, the second cup of coffee at breakfast typically took an eternity to arrive (something like 10 or 15 minutes to arrive - we tried asking for other types of coffee, but each was equally slow to come). This being said, people were invariably gracious and smiling and attentive.

Super mini holiday!

A really nice 3-night stay with my husband. The hotel is situated on the beach with a very nice view and private sunbeds. The design of the hotel is calming and made with taste and thought. Super friendly staff that really wanted us to relax and enjoy ourselves and they gladly helped with restaurant reservations etc. The hotel offers a very good á la carte breakfast and has got a nice bar with drinks , snacks and salads with a superb price value. The Theodore Boutique Hotel gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us, the only thing they could improve on is the comfort of the sunbeds on the beach, a couchon could have been nice 😎

Our time at The Theodore was wonderful. I proposed to my partner on this trip so I wanted it to be special and The Theodore ensured this was the case. They delivered one of the most unique and personalised stays we've ever had. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. I must commend George for his excellent management. George and the staff should be very proud of the high-quality service they have delivered. A particular mention must go to the front-of-house staff, especially Maria and Alexia. They were both so warm, genuine and keen to assist. For example, for restaurant, cab or day trip bookings, they were impressively efficient at organising these. Other things to comment on include the stunning view of the Cretan Sea which was on your downstep and the supreme breakfast that was offered. Thank you very much also for the welcome platter and the engagement gift also. We absolutely hope to come back again sometime.
