Stunning!

Goya and Alex's home is absolutely gorgeous! The views of the city and the water and the countryside are phenomenal! Spacious, luxurious, beautifully decorated, and extremely gracious hosts! We would go back in a heartbeat and hope we can someday. We cannot say enough good things about our stay in the Casa de Goya

La maison était incroyable. Encore plus belle que sur les photos. Nous étions jusqu’à 11 personnes ado et adultes et nous avions tout à qui ne fonctionnait pas mais l’agence Etouri a tout fait pour pallier à ce problème avec une réactivité incroyable. Ma famille et mes amis étaient ravis. Endroit magnifique.

Incredible rental!

What a fabulous home. Six of us (two couples, two singles) rented this lovely house for a week. Privacy galore for everyone! It has everything you could want. It was very clean, well stocked and the owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The pool with its waterfalls is amazing. The view of Chania is beautiful and the deck to view sunsets was perfect for early evening cocktails. No need to look further if you are planning a getaway on Crete.

Fantastic Villa and Location

We were initially attracted to checking out this villa because of the ‘10 scores’ of reviewers.Anyway we booked our week. We can honestly say the whole experience was unbelievably good. The outdoor children’s facilities were excellent with a bouncy castle and swings. The pool was a very good design with a sensible shallow area of 0.6metres deep with good access steps; the main part of the infinity pool is 1.5metres deep. The pool is mostly sunken but there is a small raised edge which gave us all confidence with our 2 and 4 year old grandchildren. The outside area generally is brilliant. Inside the villa, the air con. is very effective and the whole place is very clean and spacious. Goya and Alexis were very good hosts and we had access via WhatsApp or by phone at all times. They were helpful and yet relaxed. Thank you for helping to make our stay in Crete so very good!

Our family of 11 had the most incredible stay at this beautiful villa in the hilltop area of Chania! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking sea views, the peaceful surroundings, and the attention to detail in every corner of the property. The villa itself is immaculate — spacious, stylish, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. There was more than enough room for 6 couples and a 16 year old. The pool was perfect for cooling off, with plenty of floaties and so beautiful in the evening with colorful lights. The outdoor dining areas quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy meals with that gorgeous Cretan sunset in the background.Our hosts Goya and Alex went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable — always available, warm, and ready with great recommendations for anything we wanted to do. Chania itself is full of charm, beaches were beautiful, food was incredible and being able to return to such a serene retreat each evening made the trip even more special.We highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a magical escape in Crete! We hope to return!!

Lovely property with well maintained outdoors to relax

We were 12 adults in the group and had a lovely time in Casa do Goya. The reality is much better than the photos portray. Lovely well equipped outdoors and a very clean indoors with all the facilities. Recommend a car to drive around. Wish we had more time to relax at the property and enjoy the pool more. Goya was a great host and highly recommend this villa for a great holiday in Chania.

The perfect villa with the perfect hosts!

There were 11 of us. All family. We wanted a private, high-end, beautiful, comfortable villa with room, accommodations, and amenities for all of us including a pool, and a view of the sea to serve as our home base on Crete. Too much to ask? Casa di Goya was perfect. We were greeted by owners Goya and Alex who made us feel immediately welcome as if we were family. They were very gracious and responsive throughout our visit. When we return to Greece, we will return to Casa di Goya! P.S. Alex's wine was an unexpected treasure!

Noch schöner als in der Beschreibung!

Der perfekte Ort, um zwei Wochen im Oktober mit 3 Familien (und erwachsenen Kindern) auf Kreta zu verbringen! Ein wunderschönes Anwesen, ruhig gelegen mit toller Aussicht und unterwartet großem Pool. Chania-Zentrum ist 10 min mit dem Auto entfernt, schöne Strände 15 Min. Die Besitzer sind super-nett, geben reichlich Tipps und empfangen herzlich mit eigenem Wein und frischem Obst

An unforgettable experience

As a group of 8 we booked Villa Casa Di Goya for 10 days to celebrate our final exams. And what can we say? It was brilliant and we have never experienced such a summer vacation. The location of the Villa above Chania is perfect so as you can see on the pictures the view is unique. We often went downtown (always by Taxi) at the evenings/nights and enjoyed our dinners at the Old Harbour. Taxi service by Mr. George was pretty good. Sometimes the Taxi prices vary greatly, so do not pay more than 10€ to maximum 15€ to drive to the city. A special thanks also to Goya and Alex the owners of the Villa. They took us with them one day to the Beach by car, they offered us to shop our groceries and we drank the tastiest red wine (which is handmade by Alex) ever. Such nice and helpful people like you, you rarely meet in your life. Thank you for making the trip unforgettable!

View over Chania

We had a wonderful time at Casa di Goya. The house is beautiful and well cared for, with amazing grounds that include a wonderfully sized pool, scenic views, comfortable shady and sunny spots to read, sit, eat or lounge, and a few animals too (chickens)! We spent many, many hours enjoying the view and nice breezes. The inside is also perfect - the house is decorated in a calming and comfortable way and in a way that has personality. As a result we felt very much at home. Everything you need is present, from the well appointed kitchen to laundry, some exercise equipment and even a play station for the kids. The terrific pool is a highlight! Goya and Alex are also wonderful hosts - they gave us much useful info about the local area, including some terrific restaurant advice. We were a quick 10-15 minute drive to Chania and just a few minutes from basics such as groceries and several restaurants. This would be a wonderful place to use as a base for exploring Western Crete but beware it’s is so comfortable you won’t want to leave. Looking forward to a return someday soon!

Wunderbares Haus in großartiger Lage

Eine ganz wunderbare Villa, geschmackvoll eingerichtet in ganz ausserordentlich schöner Lage. Die Hausbesitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzig die vollkommen falsche Adresse, vermittelt durch die Ferienagentur und die nicht Erreichbarkeit der Agentur bei der Ankunft waren etwas ärgerlich.

Perfect Honeymoon

Had the most wonderful honeymoon at Casa di Goya. it was the perfect homebase to explore the beautiful city of Chania. Location could not be more perfect-you are less than 10 minutes from the center of town. The views of the city are absolutely stunning-it's really a perfect villa tucked away in the hills. The grounds are gorgeous, but what makes this property are the wonderful owners. Goya and Alex welcomed us so graciously into their home. They were available night and day for whatever we needed. We enjoyed getting to know them and we plan to return to this beautiful city very soon!

Great villa with great view

The villa itself was great, really nice pool and relaxing area. Bedrooms were also of very high standard. Location is though a bit off so rental car is recommended

Wunderbares Haus mit toller Aussicht 5*

Wir wurden bei der Anreise sehr herzlich von den Vermietern empfangen und in die technischen Details des Hauses eingewiesen. Das Haus bietet allen erdenklichen Komfort bis ins letzte Detail. Die Lage ist sehr gut, viele nette Strände sind im Radius von 30 min. Autofahrt erreichbar, in die Altstadt von Chania fährt man ca. 15 min. Der Garten ist aufwändig gestaltet, ein Tischtennis Tisch ist gut platziert unter Bäumen und ein toller Grillplatz wurde heuer neu aufgebaut. Der Pool ist gepflegt, und mit vielen Extras (Strömungskanal, Massagedüsen, Beleuchtung in vielen Farben etc.) ein echtes Highlight. Alles in Allem ein klares 5* Haus. Selten so ein tolles Haus in einer selten TOP Lage gemietet.
