  • Our little house is a work in progress but still a great getaway. Great home-base for hitting lake Palestine, visiting friends and family, or just a quick get away! Private community boat ramp and pier at lake 600 feet down street from cabin. Plenty of parking. Nice community pool with small playground adjacent. Pool closed on Mondays. Pool open Memorial day to Labor day..
    Wooded back yard with fire pit. Back yard is fenced. Pets allowed.
    Sleeps 4. One large bedroom with King size SLEEP Number Bed!
    Futon makes full size bed.
    Full kitchen including blender for smoothies or your bullet proof coffee. Coffee pot of course.. Also has crock pots,
    Inside electric grill, air fryer and waffle maker. Outside charcoal BBQ grill.
    Decks outside of bedroom and in back. Hardwired internet and wifi. Please smoke outside to respect others. Come get away and enjoy Lake Palestine in Chandler Tx.

Getaway with my husband and our puppy.

Love the stay. They made it easy for check in. The home was comfortable. My puppy loved the fecned in backyard. And the fact it was minutes away from the lake was great. Thank you to the owners we enjoyed our stay.

Our pup loved the fenced in backyard. The property backs up to the woods, so we saw deer every morning. The neighborhood was a little run down but quiet. It’s a short drive to the lake. It was pretty clean, but it is a lake house that backs up to the woods. So, you shouldn’t expect spotless outside— lots of spiderwebs and dust. We were easily able to use the kitchen to cook. All the utensils were there, and they even provided some coffee. My one suggestion for improvement would be cleaning up the backyard a bit. Some of the chairs are old and broken, but I am aware that the harsh environment makes it difficult to maintain everything in a pristine condition. Overall, it was a great place to travel with pets and worked out nicely for our visit with family in Flint.

Cute little lake cabin

We enjoyed our little getaway with our pups. Loved the fenced in yard for them! Area was a little rough, but I'd stay again. They had firewood there for us to use which was so nice and convenient.

Family trip

This place was a perfect fit for our quick Thanksgiving weekend visit to the Tyler area. We were able to host our daughter and her friends for Thanksgiving lunch and have our dog along on the trip. The fenced back yard was great!

Hidden Gem!

Loved our stay! Was super clean and a definite down home feel. We are from the hills of TN and felt right at home. In TX for a wedding wish we come have had more time to sit on the porch!

Cute cabin getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfasts and heating other meals. My husband also used the charcoal grill for delicious hamburgers.

Family Lake weekend

Family lake weekend with a group of 4. Communication with owner was easy - very responsive to any questions and was very helpful. We enjoyed our time. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Nice quiet cabin

Ivy was amazing with directions, made sure to check in, has phone numbers to contact if needed, the cabin was so cute, we stayed for a softball tournament and the kids LOVED it, nice outside set up and it’s right off the lake, we will definitely be booking again for our summer tournament!

Pretending it's Nana's house

My grandkids live on the lake as few miles south of this cabin. We spend days with them, but it is fun to bring them here, make cookies, dinner, relax with them, let them play assorted games.. just have a change of scenery. Much better for us than staying in a hotel room in town.

Decent well outfitted lake house, close to a boat ramp. Whoever left those bad reviews was probably expecting a 5 star hotel. It's a lake house with everything you need. We used it for fishing a bass tournament and was satisfied. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed.

Cozy country cabinesque just like home

Mimosa cabin house where rustic meets comfort with easy access of a few minutes walk down the path for our family to do kayaking & fishing by the lake-getaway home with ALL the trimmings of being at home inside and out and easy BBQ grilling in the backyard, great fenced up area for our Labrador baby dog, kids and entire family had a blast playing board games, stargazing, and counting beautiful birds in nature-scape yard over this holiday, so we will definitely come back again!

The refrigerator was not working. Basically room temp and the freezer did not work at all. We spent very little time so it didn’t matter to us. Everything else was satisfactory.

Get away comfort

We have lived in both AK and TX and used to staying in cabins and this cabin met our expectations, very homey and comfortable. Our dog loved romping around in the yard. We understand that this is a cabin/fishing get away; however, the cabin needs a good cleaning. I spent some of my time wiping down the kitchen counters and items sitting on the counter as well as the seating in the kitchen.
