Graduation celebration

We stayed in this lovely house for our daughter's graduation weekend. It was a reasonable walk to campus and the neighborhood itself was lovely with a big park nearby. Dr. K was very responsive on text messages for anything we needed!

nice clean house in great location for Illini sports

Great location just west of campus and very conveniet to the Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadum. And, importantly, just a few blocks from both Papa Del's and Custard Cup. The house was clean and had plenty of room and everything we needed for our stay. Access to the house and communications with the owner were easy.

Great place for UIUC Dad's Weekend

Wonderful place. Location is very close and walkable to the football stadium. A bunch of close places to eat as well. Very clean and well kept up.

Wonderful cottage near campus

The location was perfect for our needs. Close to everything C-U has to offer. Walkable, quiet neighborhood near a beautiful park. House is cozy, comfortable and immaculate. The host has everything you need. Highly recommend this listing.

Lovely house close to campus

The house has everything you need for a weekend or long term stay in Champaign. Dr. K was very attentive and helpful. The house has 3 nice sized bedrooms and plenty of room. It is walking distance to campus! We look forward to staying there again!

Nice Cozy settings, short distance from the UIUC campus

Very nice cozy house with plenty of amenities. We entered into a very clean and nicely decorated house. The bedrooms have a nice closet with quite a few drawers. The beds are very comfy for two people. We enjoyed sitting down in the basement since and has plenty of space. Martha was very quick to respond. It was a pleasent stay and I am looking forward to going back when I visit the cmpus again.

Clean , comfortable and great location

We had a wonderful experience staying at this adorable house. The house is clean and comfortable and the hosts are very responsive and quick to answer any questions you may have. They even gave us recommendations on local restaurants. This is the second time we have stayed there and we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful experience from the start!

Wonderful experience from the start! Martha (Owner) responded to inquires immediately and was available for questions prior and during our stay. A wonderful location and plenty of parking with easy access to the home. Rooms were comfortable, great lighting, with a well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has a television and cable. TVs and cable were also available in the two living areas. A definite plus when compared to traditional rentals! WiFi was available, no buffering while streaming, and perfect to get some work completed while away from the office. Everything is available from a washer/dryer, blow dryer, iron/board, BBQ grill, etc. Definitely visiting again when in town!

Exactly what we were hoping for

Martha was incredible!!! I would stay at any of her properties just for the immediacy and and thoughtfulness of anything we requested. She was always a text away and made the experience so much better. Her house is adorable, tucked away in a safe neighborhood near campus. The property itself was wonderful and had all the accommodations you could need or hope for. We will stay there again for sure!

Enjoyed our stay !

We were in town for the weekend for a family reunion and needed a place to stay with our dog. The owner was very accommodating and great to work with. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The next door neighbor was friendly and we enjoyed the back yard for our dog. Hessel Park is a short walk away and we enjoyed a walk around the park each morning! Would stay again if in the area.

It worked for our purposes

This house is in a central location in Champaign near Hessel Park. At first impression, the house looks like the trim needs painting and it is plain. The inside has been fixed up and is very clean and functional. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and another bedroom and full bath in the basement. There are wall mounted tv's in every bedroom and a large one in the living room and another in the basement 'living room' area. We had trouble with figuring out the remotes on the larger tv's but maybe that is just that I'm not too handy with remotes. We had an issue with bedding when we arrived but the owner/manager was very responsive about that and other things as well. Also you should know that there is a lot of sound transfer between the upstairs/basement...we are used to hearing our grandkids running around overhead but if a person wanted privacy between floors, then this might be a problem. When we left I gave the manager/owner a few suggestions about possible additions for the kitchen,etc. and she seemed to appreciate my feedback. The owner/manager was able to control the temperature remotely and it was very comfortable in the house even tho it was very hot and humid outdoors.
