I wish we could recommend this apartment, but of the seven places we stayed during our two-week trip, this was by far our most disappointing experience.
We waited 2 hours to access the building because the lock wasn’t working, spending considerable time trying to resolve the issue by phone. We were told someone would arrive within 10 minutes but ultimately didn't get into the apartment until well after 6pm. We were later reimbursed for a portion of our payment, which was appreciated.
Unfortunately, that wasn't all. Outside the apartment, a water bottle hung beside the door to catch water from leaking pipes and the hallway carpet was badly stained. While the condo has been renovated nicely, the building itself is dismal.
More importantly, the Expedia listing advertised two bathrooms, the reason we booked this condo. In reality, there was one small shower, one sink and one toilet in a small room. Management initally said the toilet counted as a second bathroom, and then they blamed Expedia for an "incorrect" description that has yet to be rectified. TBH, the place is way too small for 5 people, though it says it can accomodate 5.
The "included" parking was too short for our vehicle, costing us another €44. The 2nd bedroom was EXTREMELY small (perhaps a renovated closet?) without a window or airflow, making it a miserable and hot room for 3 adults.
We appreciate management’s eventual reimbursement for the delay, but taken together, this was a very disappointing stay.
