La Ferme des Praz Apartment has a large, open-plan living room centred around a log fire, dining table and chairs to seat 8, and a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. There is a TV with French & some international channels and a DVD/Blueray player with access to Netflix. There is a large balcony that stretches along the length of the apartment and is accessed via two of the bedrooms and the lounge also. The balcony of this Chamonix apartment overlooks the golf course and you can also check out the Flégère cable car from there. There is plenty of public parking available at the Flégère cable car and in the surrounding area too. In the basement of the building there is a ski locker, as well as a washing machine and dryer.

The Neighborhood:

La Ferme des Praz Apartment is adjacent to the Flegere Cable car, making it the ideal Chamonix apartment for those who want to get the first lift in the morning without waiting in any queues. The main bus line stops just outside the cable car too for access to all of Chamonix's other ski and lift areas. There are a handful of good restaurants and bars to choose from in Les Praz itself, and Chamonix town centre is an easy 20 minute walk away (or just 5 minutes in the car) for more choice, as well as supermarkets.



Getting Around:

The Chamonix valley sits at the foot of Mont Blanc in the heart of the French Alps, displaying glaciers and breathtaking views of the snow capped mountains all around. Chamonix valley is ranked one of the top skiing and boarding resorts in the world and while Chamonix is famous for skiing in the winter, you may be surprised to hear that the summer time is just as popular - walking, hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, water rafting, mountain bike trails, even an 18 hole golf course! Not to mention major sports events such as the Mont Blanc Marathon and the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.
