Chalet Belvedere - Chamonix Area

The Mountain View from the deck was awesome and the convenient location was wonderful. It was very well furnished. Sauna and spa were great after a long hike or walk through town. Christian (host) and Donatella (house manager) went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and they were very responsive to our (few) inquiries. We highly recommend the ice cave tour in the glacier. It was awesome. This was a great place to enjoy the Chamonix area. Jim

Amazing chalet with views of Mont Blanc. The chalet was stunning better than actually advertised!Everything you need is supplied. Welcomed by Donatella who was available to help us throughout our stay. 30-35 minute walk to Chamonix along the river. The village has a nice bar, restaurant and little shop just around the corner from the chalet.Every member of the group that I travel with said this is the best place we have stayed in our 20 years of travelling together.

Impressive Chalet with Incredible Balcony and Mountain Views

I stayed here with 4 friends in March of 2025 and we had a wonderful stay. The chalet was a short walk from the Flegere gondola and bus stop to access downtown Chamonix. The unit was very clean and quiet. The chalet appeared to be recently remodeled as the kitchen and bathrooms were quite nice. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor balcony with hot tub was absolutely massive and offered incredible views. The property manager, Donatella, reached out multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. We would all highly recommend.

Amazing property!

Great location; accurate description and photos. The property had everything we needed, including Crocs for "house shoes". The property was clean, including the hot tub. Views were spectacular. Walked to local market every morning for fresh pastries; then able to walk on a beautiful path along the river to dine in Chamonix.Donatella welcomed us upon our arrival, and did grocery shopping before we arrived-great selection for breakfast foods, and a hot meal with wine when we arrived that evening. We very much appreciated Christian's thoughtful gifts of fresh pastries and bread, as well as a tasty cake midway through our stay. My daughter and her family were a blown away with the entire experience. Five days of skiing on fresh snow!

great times!

Stayed at Christian’s chalet with a group of friends to ski for a few days, nothing short of a great experience! The chalet was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub and sauna is a nice addition after a day of winter activities! Donatella, the house manager, she was amazing, very communicative and had great suggestions for first timer visitors to Chamonix. We hope to be back soon!

Three Amazing Months in Chamonix!

We arrived in the beginning of January to this beautiful VRBO it is perfectly situated on the quiet side of town and minutes away from two ski lifts, or ski to Les Flegere’ if there is snow in lower altitudes. A short drive or bus ride down the road brings you into the beautiful downtown village of Chamonix. The house had everything we needed, from the kitchen to the hot tub and sauna we loved the house! Four of us stayed in the house for three months January-March and during that time we had the room to entertain multiple family members that came to visit. I find it important to note that it is a short drive to Geneva about an hour and then only a 30 minute drive to Italy! Would definitely recommend this house! We had such an amazing stay ❤️ Elisa and Sebastian are attentive and gracious. Would recommend this chalet to anyone.

Vue imprenable sur le massif du mont blanc

Le chalet est encore plus beau et spacieux que sur les photos. Parfait pour un séjour en famille ou avec des amis on n’est pas les uns sur les autres et on peut s’isoler. La cuisine est très bien équipée pour préparer tous les petits plats souhaités.

Perfect holiday for a family/group 8 to 10

The chalet is fantastic and we had a wonderful week with 8 adults and a little child. Plenty of space and a wonderful view at the mountains including the Aigille du Midi. The chalet and environment was exactly what was described on the website.

You won’t be disappointed!

I stayed with my family of 5 and the house was perfect. Kitchen had everything you could need. House was perfectly located with a trail straight out the back that led to the trail network. Golf course was fun to play, and the restaurants within walking distance were fun! Definitely coming back and will stay again. Elisa was an excellent property manager and was quick to respond and offer suggestions.

A concierge level stay in Chamonix

Staying in this lovely large home with our family was just ideal. Everything you could ask for is within your reach in this quieter area of Chamonix. Easy walk to the bus stop from which you can access everything Cham has to offer. The owner, Christian and his property manager Elisa are excellent communicators, and beyond helpful with any little bit of help or information you might require. They are this properties secret weapon ! We all loved our stay here and already looking forward to our return .

Lovely chalet!

Excellent check in with Elisa and great communication from the owner Christian. The chalet was spotless and very clean. The views are amazing (the photos don't do it justice), and sitting in the hot tub was an amazing experience. The chalet is a short walk from the Les Praz train station and Flegere lift so very well located. I didn't give the chalet five stars as one of the bedrooms was a mezzanine so it was open to the living room and two bedrooms on the main living floor didn't have their own en-suite toilets. A great stay though and would highly recommend

Fabulous chalet

The beautiful, spacious chalet had all the amenities one could want for a visit to the chamonix area including proximity to everything (chamonix town, hiking trails, biking, mountains, lifts, etc) plus all the amenities within the house like laundry, hot tub and sauna plus a lot of bathrooms. Our visit was in the summer and we enjoyed a beautiful walk along the river to get into chamonix town. les Praz is just a short walk down the hill. The views of mont blanc and all the massifs from the chalet are incredibly stunning as the whole front of the chalet is windows and you get an unobstructed view. Our hosts welcomed us with wine and champagne and we ended our stay with a delicious fruit tart dropped off for us. It was a perfect stay and we very highly recommend without hesitation!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Très belles prestations du chalet en tout point conformes aux descriptions. Situation idéale au calme mais proche de toutes commodités. Le propriétaire est très réactif aux diverses demandes d'information en tout genre. Très bon accueil et procédure d'arrivée/départ. Nous espérons pouvoir y séjourner à nouveau !

Un Noël de rêve inoubliable

Un séjour exceptionnel pour les fêtes de Noel en famille ,un chalet magnifique, très bien équipé, bien placé ,au calme et proche de tout ,une grande disponibilité des personnes de contact et la neige pour la nuit du 24 Décembre.Noel sous la neige.Nous voulons y retourner en été.
