"The photos of this property do not match. On arrival the building had broken glass taped up, no direction where to find a key, no support with trying to contact for help. Car park had people being erratic. Room itself smelt of smokers. The bed was ruffled. The bottom sheet not ironed. Paint was coming off the walls in the rooms. "Steeped in history, the ideal place to stay to get away from sterile motels. Great location and ambience, just be aware the stairs are a bit steep but worth the effort to reach the upstairs lounge, a great place to chill out."

"Unkempt around site. Should not be on wotif. Unsafe entry. Bedside table lamps not connected. No tv stations. Cockroaches. Very very disappointing. Would never stay there again and would recommend against staying."
