"Wonderful overnight stop. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming on our arrival. Breakfast delicious 😋 The room was great too👍 Had a fridge, air con unit, in the room also which was a bonus ! Best of all we were able to park right outside the door of our room which was a godsend especially since we were travelling with our dog and don't always travel light ! "Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige!
