Loved the mid century style of the furnishings in this place. Very cool and funky retro vibe. Felt a bit like living in the past which was a very nice experience. Great service from the person who checked me in. She was friendly and gave me good recommendations on place to grab some lunch. My only wish would be for a more comfortable bed and that is just a personal preference.

Glorified backpackers hostel
Access, if door is closed, is via a mobile phone number, and up 2/3 flights of stairs. Hotel has quirky decor/furnishings. Room was large with comfortable bed. Help yourself breakfast of cereals, toasts, eggs, juice. Cleanliness was average - and could do with a spring clean.

Was very comfortable and convenient, being in the centre of Cessnock. breakfast was added bonus, will have to return.

This is an unique property full ofan eclectic range of collectables that were fascinating. The problem for me were the stairs, 3 flights at the front and 4 at the back.

Was pleasantly surprised with the place. Looked a little rundown from the outside but rooms were excellent. Great Kitchen facilities as well. Location is great and lots of private parking.

For an affordable hotel is has a great feel. Its eclectic decorations may not be to everyone’s taste, but they feel really authentic and have an almost hipster feel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property and like that it was in the central part of Cessnock. It was unusual not to be greeted by any staff on arrival. However, there was a number you could call and the room was set up, unlocked with the key sitting on the table. Even upon checkout there were no staff at reception and you just drop your key off in the drop box. The rooms didn’t have much natural light, although the bed was particularly comfortable and the shower had awesome water pressure. I also liked that there was a kitchenette so as you could make your own continental breakfast with a variety of fruit, juice, milk, cereals and fresh eggs. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Not that good looking from the outside, but very comfortable inside. Eclectic decor makes it "feel like being at home". Friendly staff.

Loved the decor of the Inn, the convenient location and the kitchen facilities. The lorikeets give you a nice early morning wake up and the carpet was slightly worn. Perhaps the owners could sound proof the rooms with double glazed windows??

Really nicely decorated, very quirky and fun. Bang in the middle of the pubs and cafes too so super convenient. Staff were lovely. Would definitley stay there again, 5 stars.
